Sophia didn't listen to Rose's explanation and chased after her with a broom. The noise woke everyone in the villa.
"Mom, what's going on?" Kathleen was woken up and asked unhappily.
When Sophia saw Kathleen, she finally came to her senses. She stood there and glared at Rose coldly.
She had just received a phone call from Adam's assistant and knew that Adam had returned. She changed her clothes and went downstairs, only to see Rose seduce her husband.
She raised her niece up. She didn't expect her niece to be such an ungrateful person who dared to seduce her husband.
She was so angry that she rushed over and grabbed Rose and beat her up.
"Auntie, you misunderstood. I went over to help Uncle because he was drunk. I couldn't hold him and accidentally fell."
Rose cried. She stared at Adam. "Uncle, tell Auntie that I don't have any other intentions."
Adam sobered up because of the drama. He glared at Sophia in anger.
If news came out that something happened between Rose and him in the middle of the night, he would be laughed at.
"Sophia, stop the nonsense. Rose was helping me just now. How can you chase after the little girl and beat her up in the middle of the night!"
Adam's face darkened and went upstairs. Sophia looked extremely embarrassed.
"Sophia, do you have to make a fuss in the family?" Linda scolded unhappily. Seeing that Rose was crying pitifully, Linda walked to her side to comfort her.
"How ruthless is Sophia? She beat you so badly. Rose, don't cry. Go find some medicine to apply to your face."
"Thank you, grandma. It's my fault. I was thirsty in the middle of the night. When I came downstairs, I met uncle. Seeing that uncle was drunk, I went forward to support him. I didn't expect that aunt would be so angry."
Rose touched her face. It was swollen. She felt resentful in her heart.
