Uncle's Love: My Sweet Little Wife novel Chapter 87

James was worried, so he took Kara to the Endocrine Dept. to see an old specialist.

The doctor was wearing reading glasses. Looking at the injury on Kara's face, he was sure that it was not a big deal.

But he said the patient needed to apply for some medicine on the injury in case it would leave a scar.

Every young girl wanted to look beautiful. Hearing from James that she might be disfigured, Kara immediately panicked.

Back at the villa, she chased James upstairs, craving the medicine in his hand.

James glanced at her coldly. He looked at her with disdain and mocked, "I am exaggerating. You have to study. Having a few pimples doesn't matter at all!"

She didn't know what was good for her. He was worried that there would be a scar on her face, but she acted as if nothing had happened and said that he was nervous.

She was very young. If she had a scar on her face, she would regret it.

"No, no, Uncle James is not exaggerating at all."

Kara tried to please him and hugged his arm like a spoiled child, but he avoided it.

"Studying is very important, but my little face is more important. I am not a born beauty. And if I am disfigured, no one will dare to marry me. Uncle James, can I apologize? Please give me the medicine."

James sneered. He walked into the bedroom and ignored her.

"Uncle James, you are so handsome. Don't lower yourself to my level. I have a narrow view and am rather stupid."

Wherever he went, she would follow. When he turned around, she did not stop and bumped into his arms.

James thought that she would avoid, but she stood there in a daze and looked up at him.

Her bright amber eyes were filled with flattery. James controlled his restless body and pinched her cheek.

"Why weren't you anxious before? Aren't you embarrassed to show such an ugly face in front of me?"

She had a cheeky smirk and deliberately knocked her forehead against his chest to please him.

After that night, Kara was on guard and wanted to keep a distance from him.

But when she heard with her own ears that James was into men, she was not vigilant anymore. When James rubbed her head, she just thought that he was used to it.

"Sit down," James ordered coldly.

"Okay."

Kara sat obediently on the sofa like a little kitten, extremely docile.

He opened the medicine box and wanted to apply medicine to her.

"Uncle James, I can do it myself." She did not want to bother him.

"Then get out of here." He glanced at her coldly and didn't want to talk to her anymore.

"Please, thank you, Uncle James." Kara pursed her lips and sat down obediently to let him apply the medicine for her.

James looked through the instructions before applying the ointment to her.

Kara looked up and saw that James was staring at her face. Her figure was reflected in his brown eyes. She suddenly found that his eyelashes were so long.

"If you do well in the fine arts exam, I will take you out for fun," he said.

"Really? Where are we going?" Recently, she had been studying every day and was quite tired.

"Where do you want to go?"

James stared at her delicate skin. The red pimples were too conspicuous on her little white face, and even couldn't be covered by the ointment.

"Well, Dad always said that when I recovered, he would take me to climb the mountain, but we never had the chance. I want to climb the mountain. Uncle James, can we?" Kara looked forward to his answer.

"Yes."

Climbing was easy for him as long as she was pleased.

With ointment on her face, Kara wore a mask when she went for the fine arts lesson.

Several senior fellows greeted her and saw that she did not take off her mask and asked about it.

Kara replied embarrassedly. There were pimples on her face. She was worried that it would scare them.

Donald asked her if she was under too much pressure that caused pimples on her face. Kara nodded, thinking that he was experienced.

The other senior fellows also shared their situations while preparing college entrance examination. They also had pimples all over their faces and did not dare to go out to see anyone.
