“Your father hasn't come to see you lately?” William raised his lips, his beautiful eyes were full of concern for a friend. James smiled bitterly and shook his head.
“It's almost time to break the relationships between us.”
William wasn’t particularly surprised. He and his father started having troubles very early. His father asked James to do what he didn’t want to do. In their family noisy fights happened constantly.
No one knew how many strings James’ father pulled and how many ways he thought of to make James come back home and do business. But James never came back. He wanted to choose his own way.
“When you were a kid, you didn't like doctors. You once kicked a female nurse because you didn't want to get a vaccination. Why did you start reading medical books?” William knew him from childhood and knew him very well, he couldn’t help asking.
James finished the wine and wiped his lips, saying, “Can't I change my mind? Didn't you say that you didn't like Sophia at first?”
Smile appeared on William’s face, and when Sophia was mentioned, his face softened instinctively.
James stared at William’s soft and warm face. His eyelids fluttered, and he was suddenly envious. He stretched out his arm and poured the wine, but the bottle was empty.
“Go, ask someone to bring a bottle of wine!”
Mia was dressed in a white shirt, and the beautiful decoration made her even more beautiful. She also was wearing a dark suit and a knee-length uniform skirt of the same color.
The ordinary uniform gave her a touch of beauty. The lobby manager cast a dissatisfied look and impatiently ordered, "Customer 132 needs a drink. Please, quickly bring it to him!"
This was her job now, the waitress at the Sauna Center.
