That’s why it was like he was hypnotized and came once Sophia fell asleep.

He didn’t expect to see her coldness.

Though he was slightly disappointed, it didn’t douse his interests.

His hands grabbed and her clothes tore. Mia quickly covered herself and moved away from him and yelled, “William, go away! Get away from me!”

“Why do you want me to go away?” He walked forward a big step and shortened their distance. He only needed to reach out and he could pull her in. He pursed his lips in displeasure, her actions were upsetting him, “If what I said upset you, then I’m sorry.”

“No need!” She didn’t need a man to insult her and then fake an apology. She also didn’t want to live a life of having an affair with a married man. Furthermore, they were having an affair under the same roof as the wife.

How insulting and how exaggerating! How did she get herself into such a predicament!

Mia already had her back to the wall and couldn’t retreat any further.

William smirked like he had seen a struggling prey, making her extremely uncomfortable and she hugged herself even tighter.

She continued to remind him, “You have your own family, I have my own life, we should not have anything to do with each other, we don’t need any form of relationship, so please have some self-respect.”

“Self-respect? Don’t need to be involved?” His handsome face darkened, he was angry.

He stepped forward and pushed Mia against the wall and said, “It’s too late to say these don’t you think? You already have my baby, what self-respect are you talking about? You want a clear break of relations, is that even possible?”

“I can… give birth on my own and care for him on my own. I will not bother you.” She said politely. His temper was too great and she was afraid that she will receive those ruthless treatments.

But her words offended him and his fist twisted on the wall. If it wasn’t his intense endurance, it would have plunged into her chest.

What was this woman saying? She wants to give birth to his child and bring up the child on her own? How can he allow his flesh and blood to be wandering without him?

He lowered his head and looked at her abdomen and suddenly became happy. Doesn’t grandfather always wanted a great-grandchild? Sophia’s body won’t get well so soon and just nice this child can be a gift for grandfather’s birthday celebrations.

Mia looked at his eyes in anticipation of William’s wrath and didn’t expect him to laugh out loud. She totally couldn’t understand and looked at him nervously, swallowing her saliva, “You…”

“Very well.” He said unexpectedly and interrupted whatever Mia wanted to say. Mia struggled and suddenly William carried her up.

She wanted to resist and William had already placed her on the bed. He pressed her legs down as he used his necktie to tie her wrists to the headboard.

William hugged her. He looked at her delicate and smooth body and was mesmerized. This perfect body absolutely hypnotized him like he was addicted to it. He will crave for it if he didn’t touch it.

He can’t give her love but he can give her plenty of money and he believed that he can keep her by his side but not here.

One and a half million! Mia put her phone down and looked at the bank card in her hand with mixed feelings. William was a man of his words. Each time they had sex he would give her money and this was the accumulated amount.

This was what she needed as well. Once the baby was born, the expenses were huge. She would use all this money on the child and gave him the best education.

She rubbed her abdomen and her expression softened.

Outside, Sophia was carried into the car by William and the servants lined up to see them off in a grand display.

Mia looked back as someone knocked on her door. Rebecca was at the door with two servants.

“Pack up for her.” She ordered and maintained her silence thereafter. Mia was confused. The two servants were able to pack up her scarce belongings.

Mia went into the car with Rebecca and in half an hour, they reached a large building.

“The Elements Group?” She asked. Rebecca already walked into a private walkway. They went directly to the top floor and Rebecca stopped.

She pointed to the bedroom in the director’s office, “You’ll stay here for this period and don’t go anywhere. Someone will send you your daily meals.”

She was in the middle of picking them up when she realized and stood up looking pale and flustered,” I’m sorry, I was bored and wanted to make something to eat. I’m sorry.”

Her expression revealed her fear for him as if standing before her wasn’t a man but an easily provoked lion. Her body began to tremble. This wasn’t a good feeling and William adjusted his gaze and said calmly, “Since you want to cook, then prepare a portion for me.” He turned and walked out.

Mia was stunned for several seconds until William left before she came to her senses. When she recollected what he said, she felt that he wasn’t himself today. Especially the flash of tenderness and warmth which can only be seen with Sophia. Although it was just an instance, she managed to see it.

She cautiously walked out and saw William laying on the sofa with his eyes closed and with his long legs propped onto the coffee table. He looked very tired.

Without his cold arrogance look, he appeared totally approachable. That fair face with the dagger-like eyebrow, the long eyelashes not only complemented his masculinity, but it also accentuated his elegance. His nose was firm and sharp. His lips were thin and enticing. He was entirely like a prince out of the fairy tales. She stood dazed, looking at him.

“Anything?” His eyes suddenly opened and the black and watery eyes fell onto her body. Mia’s chest tightened and blushed in red. She lowered her head and wrung her hands and asked, “I just wanted to ask you what would you like to eat.”

She felt awkward and looked at William shyly like he was teasing her. Her body warmed up and her desires started to radiate throughout her. He also flushed in red and looked at her lustfully, scaring Mia, “Are… are you alright?”

“Anything will do, get out!” His beasty shout scared her to run into the kitchen.

His hardened penis made him feel uncomfortable and he walked to the bathroom. He looked at the warm and cold water indicators and pressed on the blue indicator.

Mia prepared a few simple dishes. Carrot with slices of meat, fried spinach, beef stew, and tomato soup. She carefully served the dishes and looked for two sets of cutleries.

The bathroom door opened and William came out with his hair damp and topless. He faced her while he put on his shirt slowly.

Mia didn’t dare to look at him and fixated on the dishes on the table. Though she had seen him naked numerous times, she still didn’t dare to look at his manly body.

William tidied himself and walked to the table. Only then did Mia nervously raised her head and said uneasily, “I don’t know what you like to eat, so I prepared some simple dishes, I hope that you…”

He reached out with his chopsticks and picked up a piece of beef. Mia held her chopsticks but didn’t move and was waiting anxiously to see his reaction.

His eyebrow twitched and Mia almost dropped the chopsticks and stood up, “Does it taste… awful?”
