The next day, they accompanied the mentors in the village for another day and rushed to Horington in the afternoon to take a plane back to Jadeborough. Coincidentally, they were on the same flight as Abigail. Abigail Barton was speechless. She pretended not to see Annalise and Julian. Annalise found it funny. She had been longing for Abigail to treat her as a stranger.

After arriving at Jadeborough, Annalise and Julian immediately went to the hospital. Cassandra’s condition was already very stable. Jonathan was coming over personally to check on Cassandra. Seeing Annalise, he immediately said, “It’s good that you’re here. Give him a few more acupunctures later to strengthen his condition.” “Okay.” Annalise replied.

When Jane heard Jonathan asking Annalise to give Casandra acupuncture again, she was worried Annalise would take all the credit if Cassandra cured faster. She immediately said, “Mr. Woods, it’s fine. My grandmother is recovering very well.” Everyone looked at Jane and thought that she was insensible.

Seeing that everyone was staring at her, Jane immediately changed her words. “What I mean is Ms. Barton had just rushed back from Horington. It’s been a long journey. My grandmother is recovering well, so she doesn’t need acupuncture.”She had learned to be smart now and would not fight head-on. She had already contacted Gwen. When the time came, she would get Gwen to go to her house and give Cassandra a few injections. Gwen could take all the credit.

“Are you a doctor, or am I a doctor? Why don’t you treat your grandmother instead?” Jonathan retorted bluntly. He did not know who treated Anna well or who was unkind to Anna. However, as Julian’s relative, anybody who addressed Anna as Ms. Barton was definitely trash! Jane was embarrassed and immediately apologized. “Mr. Woods, that’s not what I meant.”

Sean looked at Jane sternly and said politely to Jonathan, “Professor Woods, my daughter has been spoiled. She said an awful thing. Please don’t take it to heart. I’m sorry!”

Jonathan said generously, “I’m doing this for your mother’s good. You can’t find someone better in acupuncture than Annalise, my sister, in the entire Chanaea. With her acupuncture, your mother’s body will be further strengthened.”

The Hiller family people knew that Annalise’s medical skills were superb. After hearing Jonathan praising her, they naturally hoped Annalise could perform acupuncture for Cassandra. Sean stood and said politely. “Anna, I’ll leave her to you.” Actually, their family was still fond of her even if Jonathan didn’t praise Annalise. They liked everyone Cassandra liked. “It’s no trouble. This is what I should do as a junior. I also hope that Ms. Parks will be healthy and live a long life.” Annalise said.

The Hiller family was actually not bad. Jane was the only exception. Without thinking further, Annalise sat before the bed and took out her silver needles. Jane saw Annalise skillfully inserting the needles into Cassandra’s body one after another. She saw her parents, uncles, and aunts looking at Annalise performing acupuncture with admiration. She immediately felt depressed. Her phone rang again. She immediately picked it up. Then, she was excited. “Gwen, you’re back? That’s great. I’ll come over now.” As soon as she hung up, she said to Sean, “Dad, my best friend Gwen is back. Can I treat her to a meal?”

“Go ahead,” Sean pleasantly reminded her, “Don’t drink. Don’t get drunk if you drink. I’ll call Julian and ask him to pick you up later. Do you still have money? I’ll give you 300 thousand dollars later.”
