Chapter 24 Joseph Called Her To Save Patient

As soon as Annalise said it was an older woman, a smile appeared on Julian’s face. “Okay.”

The way she was anxious to explain to him was like a wife who cared about her husband deeply, afraid that he would misunderstand and become jealous

After peeling another shrimp, he put it onto her plate and asked gently, “Is she important to you?”

“Yes, very important,” Annalise replied.

“Okay, let’s go together tomorrow evening” He wanted to meet the person who was very important to Annalise.

“Sure,” she replied.

“I will accompany you to get your styling done tomorrow afternoon,” Julian added.

Annalise remembered that Madeline asked her to meet at eight o’clock in the evening, so she agreed to it readily. “Okay.”

He then looked at her while peeling shrimps.

“What is it?” she asked.

“What color of gown do you like?” Julian probed.

With fair skin and delicate facial features, she appeared more attractive the longer one looked at her.

Her pair of black, doe-like eyes were bright with a twinkle. As she blinked, her eyelashes would flutter, making her look even more enchanting.

However, her beauty was always overlooked because she dressed plainly in jeans and T-shirts and never wore high heels.

“I’m fine with any color,” Annalise responded.

“How about purple. Do you like it?” Julian asked again.

“A dreamy purple dress would look very beautiful on her,” he thought..

“Yes, I like it,” she said, flashing him a smile.

Her favorite colors were white and purple.

White was clean, whereas purple was dreamy.

“Okay.” Julian had thought about what style of gown to choose for her.

Seeing that he kept peeling shrimps for her, she took two pieces of pork ribs and gave them to him. “You should eat too.”

Elation surged in his heart uncontrollably when he looked at the pork ribs on his plate.

“Okay,” he replied. Smiling warmly, he picked up a piece of the pork rib she gave him and put it into his mouth.

As expected, the food that she dished up for him was more delicious.

Upon noticing the greasy stain on the corner of Annalise’s lips, he took the napkin and gently wiped it off for

her.

Her ears turned red, and she could not help but lower her head.

A strand of hair fell by her ear.

When Julian saw that, he softly tucked the strand of hair behind her ear for her.

However, his hand accidentally touched her ear.

Annalise felt a tingling sensation all over her body, and her temperature rose.

Julian looked at her with a tender gaze and urged, “Let’s eat. We’ll go talk to your uncle about the stocks later.”

“Okay.” Annalise immediately began digging in.

They had just finished their meal when she suddenly received a phone call and had to leave in a hurry
