Chapter 30 Benjamin Vs. Julian
Benjamin did not join the bid.
Julian and Madeline did not bid as well.
Madeline leaned back lazily, while Julian tapped his slender fingers on the table.
“Ms. Tuffin, this perfume seems to be from your favorite series?” Annalise asked Madeline.
“It’s not bad,” Madeline replied.
“I’ll buy it for you!” Annalise immediately said.
Instantaneously, Madeline’s eyes were full of smiles. “Okay!”
Her apprentice wanted to buy a present for her. Of course, she would not stop her.
Not to mention that she could show it off to the other old fogeys.
Annalise immediately started bidding.
Yvonne was a very famous perfumer. Her perfume was very common in Chanaea, but the limited edition perfume she launched every year was extremely difficult to buy. Only noblewomen and socialites would have one or two bottles.
Therefore, many people felt proud to have a bottle of Yvonne’s limited edition perfume.
Of course, the fragrance of her perfume was indeed very light and elegant, very suitable for women.
In the blink of an eye, the bid price for the perfume had gone up to 26.3 thousand dollars.
Noticing that number 140 had joined the bid, Benjamin immediately started bidding as well.
Moments ago, he looked at the number plate in front of Annalise’s desk on purpose and knew that she had the number 140.
He guessed that once the bidding price was high, she definitely could not afford the perfume. He believed that if he bought it for her, she would be moved by the fact that he gave her a perfume worth ten of thousands of dollars.
As he was thinking about that, number 141 joined the bidding.
Number 141 was Julian, who was sitting on the right side of Annalise.
Benjamin narrowed his eyes unhappily, and then a mocking smile spread across his face. “Since this man is overconfident and wants to get humiliated, I’ll make his wish come true. It’s just the right time for me to take revenge for the humiliation I suffered that night. How could a person who doesn’t even have the qualifications to sit in the front row be richer than me?” he pondered.
As soon as he bid 28.5 thousand dollars, he saw number 139 bid 45 thousand dollars on the big screen.
Benjamin subconsciously furrowed his brows as he mused, “Isn’t number 139 the noblewoman next to Annalise? It seems like she’s a new nouveau riche. The bidding price of the perfume was only 28.5 thousand dollars, but she directly jumped to 45 thousand dollars.”
With a snort, he bid 52.5 thousand dollars to throw everyone out of the race at once.
After all, Yvonne’s limited-edition perfume was only worth 15 to 20 thousand dollars per bottle.
As expected, once the bid reached 52.5 thousand dollars, there was basically no bidder anymore.
One of the reasons was that the price was too high, and another reason was that everyone wanted to show respect to the Quigley family. After all, Quigley Group was the number one company in Horington.
Julian’s disrespect was highlighted by others who were respectful of Benjamin because he kept bidding and called 60 thousand dollars.
Nevertheless, Benjamin snickered and bid 75 thousand dollars calmly.
He was representing the Quigley family at the charity gala, and his family had planned to donate 45 million dollars. He couldn’t care less about 75 thousand dollars.
Moments later, Julian calmly bid 102 thousand dollars.
The crowd gasped in shock, and many people whispered, “Hey, who’s that man with the number 141? He’s so

handsome. I’ve never seen him before.”
