Chapter 75 A Boy’s Desire To Become A Man
Annalise was initially in a bad mood after being asked by Julian in an interrogative tone.
Yet, looking at how he was at this moment, her heart suddenly beat faster.
Was he jealous?
He looked so childish when he was jealous.
It was very adorable too!
His true nature had been revealed again.
Recalling that she had been in a relationship with Benjamin for more than a year, Benjamin never seemed to be jealous.
Perhaps it was because she had never been this distracted before, so there was no reason for him to be jealous.
Or perhaps, it was because he thought that he was outstanding enough and that she, Annalise Barton, was not a match for him, so he would not be jealous.
The more she wondered about it, the faster her heartbeat became.
A gifted person like Julian Parks would actually be jealous over a brief conversation she had with another
man.
It was unbelievable.
It was satisfying as well.
He saw her with importance, a person with outstanding qualities. He was afraid that others might snatch her away, justifying why he became jealous.
She gently responded to his kiss and instantly felt like everything was wonderful.
Moments of their shared memories kept replaying in her mind.
When they were at Horington, Old Mr. Parks gifted her an expensive bracelet. She almost broke it. Instead of this bracelet, however, he protected her immediately.
At the Horington auction, he continuously punched Benjamin in the face.
On the way to Jadeborough, he bought her breakfast.
When Samuel was unconscious, he trusted her medical skills unconditionally.
At present, Jessy slandered her. He immediately took revenge.
She could not think any further. Any further, she would feel extremely touched and moved.
They had not known each other for long, but he had never underestimated her.
Even in the past, when he had no knowledge about her medical skills, he never once looked down on her.
Until this moment, he was still being considerate despite the jealousy.
Julian felt Annalise’s response and went crazy. His gentle kiss suddenly turned hasty.
His breathing became heavier.
His voice was low and hoarse. “Annie…”
He gazed upon her passionately. “…It’s a little hard to bear.”
Her face instantly turned red.
She knew what he was talking about, but they had only known each other for over half a month.
He looked at her helplessly with his thumb reaching to caress her face.
In this place, they could still hear sounds from the banquet.
Jessy was apologizing publicly. She confessed that she had said something wrong on a whim. She actually had no understanding of Annalise’s situation at all. She only knew that Annalise came from Horington. Everything else was just her sprouting nonsense.
She was smart enough to grasp the focus of this public apology. She did not dare mention the word abortion, fearing that everyone would think nonsensically again.
Upon hearing Jessy’s apology, Annalise’s heart swayed.
She knew that this was the result of Julian’s protectiveness over her. Otherwise, a woman like Jessy would never apologize publicly.
Just how much was Jessy looking down on her? She even dared to insult her right in the face.
“Thank you!” She thanked Julian.
Julian pointed at his face.
Annalise blushed as she kissed Julian on the cheek.
Julian suddenly grabbed Annalise by her waist and pulled her into his arms.
He looked down at her passionately and asked, “Annie, how do you feel about me?”
“You’re good,” Annalise said immediately.
“What else?” Julian kept his eyes fixed on Annalise’s as he asked.
