Jonathan’s initial intention of hiding his identity was to protect Anna. He no longer needed to hide it now that Anna was protected and well taken care of.

Alexander immediately hung up and called his father. “Dad, keep an eye on Jonathan Woods on your end. Do you have any flight information on him?”

“It’s tomorrow’s flight,” Tony Parks replied.

“How could he make it to the surgery tomorrow afternoon if it’s tomorrow’s flight? Most probably he would return early. I’ll hurry back now!” Alexander ended the call and urged Abigail, “Let’s return to Jadeborough immediately.”

Abigail also caught the news that Jonathan Woods was to operate on old Madam Blake tomorrow afternoon. She was extremely excited. “He’s actually coming back early. We’ll rush back immediately.”

They chose to take the high-speed rail back to Jadeborough instead.

Abigail had been on the phone all this time through all sorts of connections trying to get a spot for herself to observe the surgery live.
