"How dare you!" Clyde was about to get out of the car in anger, ready to beat the security guard up.

Suddenly, Leon patted him on the shoulder. "Reverse the car. I'll walk in while you wait outside."

"But Leon…"

"Do you need me to say it again?" Leon's tone changed slightly.

"No." Clyde gritted his teeth, glared at the security guard, and reversed out.

Teresa's leg was injured, and she walked slowly. She relaxed as soon as she entered the gated compound and sat by a flowerbed to relax for a while.

A little puppy ran over and rubbed itself against her leg. She bent down and stroked it gently.

Leon stood in the distance, watching her quietly. He had never expected to meet her there, but she probably didn't recognize him anymore…

Teresa sat there for a while, then got up to continue her journey home. She felt like someone was following her, but when she turned back to look, there was nobody there.

After she went into the apartment and changed into slippers, the doorbell rang. She didn't see anyone when she looked through the peephole, so she opened the door. There was a soft thump as the bag that had been hung on her doorknob fell to the floor.

Teresa picked it up and looked at it. A chill ran down her back.
