Over the next few days, Vincent had to go on a business trip. Alex, of course, was right there with him.

This time, due to work obligations, Ivy came along too. Before they left, she couldn't help but brag about it in the office.

The CEO's office, which used to be bustling, now felt strangely quiet and empty. It was almost as if it belonged solely to Tiffany.

With Ivy out of the picture, Tiffany found her workload much lighter. She savored the chance to stick to a routine, coming and going from the office on schedule each day.

She was still dealing with morning sickness, but it wasn't as bad as it had been initially. Besides feeling queasy in the mornings, she was just a bit nauseous the rest of the time.

To ensure the baby received proper nutrition, Tiffany made sure to eat every meal on time. Not only that, but she also balanced her diet with a variety of foods. In just a week, she visibly gained some weight.

Whenever it was time to eat, Mandy always came looking for her.

"Tiffany, let's go grab lunch."

It had become a daily thing. Once Mandy let go of her infatuation with Vincent, she became hooked on the food at the Lewis Group staff cafeteria. She'd say, "You can't get rid of obsessions. They just find new targets."

So, her obsession with Vincent transformed into an obsession with cafeteria food. Every day, she'd drag Tiffany along for a meal.

"Let me see what's on the menu today."

"BBQ spare ribs! Honey-glazed pork chops! Shrimp scampi! Clam chowder! Sautéed beef strips! Meatloaf!"

Mandy couldn't contain her excitement as she rattled off the names of the dishes. "Wow, the cafeteria food just keeps getting better and better."

But Tiffany's focus was on the prices listed next to each dish. "Do you remember how much the BBQ spare ribs were two days ago?"

"It was like 12 dollars, right?"

Tiffany shook her head. "It was eight."

Tiffany looked up. "I'm just wondering… what if these ribs are from sick pigs?"

If the meat were indeed from sick pigs, it wouldn't be good for the baby's development.

Tiffany looked skeptical. "How do you know?"

After a moment of thought, Mandy replied, "Well, think about it. Lewis Group is such a huge company. How could they compromise on food quality?

Tiffany nodded in agreement. Mandy made a good point.
