As Tiffany made the bed, Vincent appeared at the bathroom door with a toothbrush in hand.
He looked at Tiffany earnestly and asked, "Do you have a mouthwash cup?"
She rose and fetched her own mouthwash cup. She rinsed it thoroughly before offering it to him. "You can use mine if you don't mind."
"Sure." Vicennt casually accepted the cup and began his routine of brushing his teeth as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Tiffany's heart skipped a beat as she watched his lips touch her cup. Remembering that he didn't have a towel, she pointed to the pink and white one drying nearby.
"That's my face towel," she offered.
"Alright." He hummed, a pleased smile playing on his lips as he met her gaze in the mirror.
Flustered, Tiffany quickly looked away and hurried back to finish making the bed. Her heart was pounding wildly from his gaze.
After brushing his teeth, Vincent meticulously rinsed the cup inside and out. It was the first time in his life that he was worried about someone being disgusted by him.
He then returned the cup to its spot and tucked the toothbrush into his pocket, reluctant to discard it.
He picked up Tiffany's small, soft towel that still had a faint scent of soap. He hesitated for a moment, inhaling the scent, then chuckled at his reflection in the mirror.
He hung the towel back in its place, washed his face with water, and left the bathroom. Tiffany had made the bed and divided the breakfast into two portions.
"Mr. Lewis, you bought too much. I can't finish it all myself, so I've made a plate for you."
Vincent glanced at the breakfast. "Go wash up. I'll give you a ride to work after breakfast."
Tiffany wanted to refuse, but she swallowed her words after seeing him already seated at the table.
