Neither Lorraine nor Logan asked Luna or Finnegan to give their toys to Joshua. 

They weren’t the type of parents who would ask their own children to make concessions to please the other child. Joshua was wrong in the first place, so his behavior had to be corrected. Pleasing him because he threw a tantrum wasn’t going to do him any good.

Lorraine observed the kids‘ reactions. Both of them were forgiving and responded simultaneously, “We’re not mad at you anymore, Josh. You’re forgiven.” 

Luma reached out and held Josh’s hand, speaking in crisp voice, “Let’s play together, Josh.” 

She offered him the boy of her own accord. That tumed Joshua’s frown upside down immediately. Then, he also gave his toy to Luna
