The next day, Cindy opened her eyes and found that her mommy was still in sound sleep beside her.
Cindy was extremely excited. Everything yesterday was really not a dream!
Cindy kissed Luna and was just about to get out of bed when she saw that Brodie was at the door. Cindy waved at him slightly and whispered, "Keep your voice down. Mom is still asleep."
Cindy purposely walked with her toes on. She lowered her voice and walked step by step like a mermaid walking on a beach. She carefully walked out of the room and deliberately closed the door.
Cindy was so happy, "Luna is still asleep. Dad, don't wake her up!"
Brodie really felt that the girl was like a grown-up. He touched her head and said, "I see!"
"Was Luna very tired yesterday? I was too excited to find that she had dark circles around her eyes. I hope my mommy wouldn't be tired from telling me a story yesterday."
Brodie felt touched for Cindy's sensibility, and hurriedly explained, "Mom was on the plane for more than ten hours yesterday. She was tired, so she needed to rest. Don't think too much."
Only then did Cindy feel relieved, "Then I'm relieved! Luna should have a good rest today. She will probably be refreshed tomorrow!"
After breakfast, Cindy was sent to school by Brodie's butler. Meanwhile, Brodie's secretary, Steve, was ordered to pick up the wife of the Covey family's patriarch, Moriah Lane.
Moriah was Luna's biological mother, who was cheated by Ariana and Jessica. Over the past 20 years, Moriah had always treated her own daughter as an illegitimate daughter of Jerry and had always been harsh on Luna.
Luna woke up very late. In a daze, she discovered that there was no one beside her.
Damn it, she slept with Cindy, but in the end, she woke up even later than Cindy.
But...
After thinking for a while, she realized that Cindy had actually left without waking her up.
