Chapter 12 Ryker’s Intention
The next day, Aylin woke up with a serious headache She patted her head and rubbed her messy hair. Aylin looked around at the strange environment and tried hard to recall what happened last night.
But she was so drunk last night.
She tried hard to recall and finally, she thought of something. Yesterday, she went to a bar, got drunk, and went on stage to dance. Then….
Aylin widened her eyes.
Yesterday, she met Gavyn at the bar and gave him a slap.
Thinking about it, she thought it was so cool!
She had loved Gavyn for so long, but she had never fought back!
This slap was so satisfying!
Just thinking about his dark face made her feel funny!
The phone suddenly rang, interrupting Aylin’s thoughts.
She glanced at the phone beside her pillow. There were more than a hundred calls from David.
“Boss, why did you leave without waiting for me yesterday? Where are you now?”
David asked anxiously. Last night, when he came back from the phone call, he couldn’t find Aylin.
He had been waiting for Aylin all these years. If Aylin was kidnapped because she was drunk and disappeared for
another three years, he couldn’t bear it!
“Well, I am.”
Aylin looked around the room, trying to find some useful information, but the room was very simple. Other than the furniture, there was nothing else. Only the person in the photo beside the bed looked familiar.
Looking closer, she found it was Ryker.
The memory gradually returned to her mind. Aylin said lightly, “I met Ryker at Paradise last night. I should be at his
house now.”
Hearing the voice from the other side of the line, David let out a long breath.
It was good that Aylip had not been kidnapped.
“Boss, please send me the location. I’ll pick you up.”
“Okay.”
After hanging up the phone, Aylin sent the location to David. After washing up, she walked out of the room.
Ryker was about to go upstairs when he saw Aylin. He immediately smiled brightly, “Aylin, I’ve already prepared
breakfast!”
Aylin glanced at the table.
She could see the soup and appetizers on the dining table downstairs.
After a night of hangover, Aylin couldn’t even stand firm. Immediately, she felt hungry.
After tasting a mouthful of soup, she froze for a moment, and then smiled and gave a thumbs up.
“It’s good, Ryker. I didn’t expect you to be so good at cooking! I like the taste!”
Ryker chuckled and sat opposite her. “You used to like the soup. Of course, I have to put in some effort.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Unveiling The Genius Behind The Divorce
Terrible ending, so she has helped out a model and an actor get started. Her “brothers” are not protecting her, her ex loves her dearly and she loves him but has never bothered to tell him what happened to her with amnesia to clear the air on their marriage that could be fixed the second time around. Readers want the romance and love of the story, not ridiculous violence, manipulation and deception. Make it right, finish the story with a grand wedding and a child of their own....
Come-on, her not knowing anything about herself and he knowing nothing about her, any wealthy man would think that way. Aylin is being totally unfair to Gavyn as it was his mother and sister who were deliberately lying to him and treating her like crap. Make it right!...
Wow, enough… why do you make the heroine out to be a hooker and allow the bixens to look like upstanding women? Shameless. Get the two who actually love each other back together and stop the nonsense. Since when does a mother arrange for her son’s wife, despicable. And rather sickening, obviously Gavyn’s mother is an idiot!...
Relationships based on lies… despicable women.. find the newsreel where Alton was actually the one who saved Gavyn and send it to him. Leila needs to go...
It's been almost a year since the last chapter. Is this story going to be completed?...
