When Aylin arrived home, it was still early. She changed into her pajamas and took a beauty nap, allowing herself a good rest. As a result, much of the anger and frustration in her heart dissipated.
Seeing that she seemed to be planning to go out, the female housekeeper conscientiously opened the wardrobe and jewelry wall for Aylin to choose from.
Her walk-in closet is one that every woman who sees it can’t help but envy.
Not only does it feature luxury haute couture brands from various designers, but also limited-edition collaborations. Many of the styles are exclusively brought back from abroad by Robert himself, making them priceless and unique.
After pondering for a moment, she chose a light purple silk halter-neck evening gown from the array of unadorned dresses. The gown subtly revealed her fragrant shoulders, and the perfectly measured curve of the back slit gracefully showcased her fair skin and the elegant lines of her figure.
Her raven-black hair cascaded down, gently swept to one side, the soft curls accentuating her delicate facial features. Wearing a pair of peep-toe high heels, she exuded radiance and captivating beauty.
Carrying her classic, versatile Chanel plaid-patterned mini bag, Aylin had just stepped out of her doorway when she ran into Robert, who had just left moments before.
Robert wore a sharply tailored, irregular black jacket, paired with matching trousers that hugged his long legs. The soft fabric gave off a casual and nonchalant vibe.
With fluffy hair and a serpentine ear cuff, there’s an added touch of casual charm and playfulness.
“Hey,” Aylin raised an eyebrow, “Robert, where are you going all dressed up like this? Are you going on a blind date or something?”
“Wouldn’t I be devoured by those women if I go on a blind date dressed like this? If I really have to go, I might as well dress like a beggar.”
“Tsk,” Aylin smirked, “So what’s this about?”
Robert mysteriously put on his sunglasses and said, “You’ll find out tonight. As for now, the secret must not be revealed.”
After saying goodbye with a wave, they drove away.
“Are you trying to play riddles with me?” Aylin said with a laugh.
No sooner had Robert left than someone else arrived at the door.
Sarlah looked at Aylin with a hint of nervousness. “Aylin, I wanted to ask for a day off. I might not be able to serve you today”
Aylin didn’t show much kindness to her, her expression cold and stern, only leaving two words.
“The reason.”
“I-I am attending an important banquet.”
Sariah felt very displeased listening to Aylin’s condescending tone.
Looking at Aylin’s outfit, from head to toe, it was nothing short of exquisite and luxurious. The necklace around her neck was a limited edition that she couldn’t even beg for!
Sariah is jealous!
The flames of jealousy burned, and the words that came out of the woman’s mouth were naturally not so pleasant, “I’m not like you, Aylin, born with everything. I can’t rely on my parents or men. I can only rely on myself.”
Between the lines, there’s a hint of sarcasm, implying that Aylin merely had the luck of being born into a good family.
“Rely on yourself? What can you do, chop wood in the countryside?”
Aylin retorted without holding back, as she crossed her arms and looked Sariah up and down. “Perfect, I’ll give you a chance to prove yourself. Help me clean my shoes.”
Sariah’s eyes widened in shock, “W-What?”
Washing feet is one thing, but to actually help Aylin wipe her shoes at the door!
Aylin’s eyes narrowed, “Do you still need me to teach you?”
Sariah shuddered and didn’t dare to ask any further questions.
