Unveiling the Genius Behind the Divorcee novel Chapter 248

Chapter 248 The Doting Brother Maniac Harry

David’s voice came through the other end, sounding like a mix of a ghost’s wail and a wolf’s howl. “Boss, you finally remembered to contact me! I’ve been so bored!”

Aylin had been busy with her company’s business these past few days, so she hadn’t been in touch with him much.

This caused David to be much frustrated.

“That’s perfect as I have a task for you, “Aylin said seriously. “Sebastian has recently appeared in western district. Keep a close eye on him and don’t let him get away. I have some questions for him tomorrow.”

Upon hearing Aylin entrusting him with an important task, David felt a surge of pride welling up within him. His voice rang out loud and clear, as if it could pierce the sky.

“Don’t worry, Boss. I’ll definitely get it done!”

Sebastian.

Harry swiftly caught the name. His eyebrows furrowed, and his eyes were as cold as the broken ice in the depths of a harsh winter.

With one hand on the steering wheel and the other reaching for his phone, he discreetly sent a message while Aylin wasn’t looking.

The destination was reached quickly. Harry got out of the car first, and with one hand, he opened the door for Aylin, while the other hand carefully shielded her from the door frame.

Upon seeing his actions, Aylin’s nose suddenly felt sour.

When I was a child, I used to go out and have fun with my father, uncle, and their families. At first, it was always my father who took care of me, but later on, it became Harry.

“Harry, I’m already an adult.”

Harry gently patted her head. “No matter how old you get, you’ll always be my little sister.”

No matter how old you are, you’ll always be my daughter. Aylin suddenly recalled her father’s identical words from years ago and fiercely pinched her palm.

Dad, Mom, I miss you guys so much…

The intricately carved and hollowed-out courtyard gates of the Koch’s home, along with the furnishings inside, did not undergo any significant changes.

It was Aylin’s way of commemorating her deceased parents.

She wanted to preserve all their traces to the greatest extent.

After Harry stepped through the door, he felt a slight dizziness. Everything before his eyes was exactly the same as he remembered. There was the cobblestone path and the beautiful bushes on both sides.

The swing set and seesaw in the garden were still the ones Timothy had specially built for his daughter twenty years ago, and they showed no signs of fading or chipping paint.

Time passed and the world changed, even the stars in the sky revolved and shifted.

In the vast Koch’s home, Aylin was the only one living there. Harry didn’t dare to think about how she had managed to get through countless sleepless days and nights all by herself.

Regret flickered across the man’s eyes.

From now on, he would definitely protect Aylin and never let her suffer any grievances again.

It was the case for the deaths of Nina and Timothy as well.

Harry was determined to help Aylin seek vengeance and settle the score. Otherwise, he would fail as a brother and betray the love and care the Koch family had given him for over a decade!

Aylin didn’t notice the subtle change in Harry’s expression she pulled him along, making their way further inside.

Many of the housekeepers were new and didn’t recognize Harry. They respectfully greeted Aylin and sneakily admired Harry’s delicate features.

Is this Ms. Koch’s boyfriend?

It wasn’t until John opened the door that he saw Harry, his face beaming with joy.

“Mr. Harry?”

Harry nodded slightly. “It’s me, John.”

Harry was naturally aloof, but the fact that he could show such an expression meant that he already considered John as family, just like Aylin did.

John was overjoyed, his face beaming with happiness as he warmly welcomed the two guests inside and invited them to sit down. He then brewed them. some top-quality Americano.

“John, no need to keep yourself busy. Come and have a seat,” said Aylin.

“Okay.” John received permission before sitting down on the couch.

In the presence of his family, Harry removed his mask.

Upon hearing about the fight, John immediately rushed over and began checking Aylin up and down. “Ms. Koch, you got into a fight? Who was so stupid? Are you hurt?”

Aylin was instantly surrounded by two big men, getting stuck between them.

She couldn’t help but laugh. “I’m not that weak. They were just a few insignificant troublemakers, and I took care of them in no time.”

Harry grinned and nodded. “Yeah. Aylin’s fighting skills didn’t deteriorate.”

Once again, John felt proud of Aylin. While other young ladies were delicate and frail, Aylin could take on ten opponents at once.

“Ms. Koch is the coolest and most awesome!”

“No matter how capable you are, you still need to eat.” Harry pulled Aylin up and pushed her towards the stairs. “Go change your clothes, and we’ll go out to eat.”

“Let’s go to the Deli Restaurant. Food owned by us still tastes the best.” Aylin knew her brother cared for her, so she didn’t refuse anymore. She planned to make it up to him with a delicious meal next time.

As she was about to go upstairs, she suddenly remembered that there was a child at home. So she instructed John, “John, please call Abby out and bring her along later.”

Harry frowned. “Abby?”

“She’s Aunt Serena’s daughter. Our cousin.”

“How could she be here?”

Aylin sneered. “It’s all thanks to Sariah’s handiwork.”

Aylin quickly changed into a light purple gown with buttoned loops. Her hair was styled into a soft and fashionable updo, secured at an angle with a long hairpin adorned with silver and jade.

As she went downstairs, Abby also came out, her hair neatly tied in two ponytails, her big eyes blinking as she looked at Harry.

“Hello, Harry.”

Harry had already learned about the situation from Malcom and found out that the little girl was now completely on Aylin’s side. As she had been deceived by bad people before, he didn’t hold it against her and just responded with a faint “Mm.”

Harry courteously opened the car door for them. Just before getting in, Aylin suddenly remembered something.

“By the way, where’s Robert? Hasn’t he come back yet?
