When he realized this, he stared into the air for seconds, with nothing in his mind, just watching her cry.
Then, his Adam's apple moved up and down before he squeezed out a few words from his teeth. "Don't cry. Why are you so aggrieved?"
Elinor didn't speak. But in front of Kemp and Wenny, she just wiped her face heavily and didn't explain where her pressure came form. She just said to Kemp after standing in silence for a long moment. "I'm ok."
After she cried like this. She actually said she was ok.
Kemp felt all his words were pushed back by her answer. He watched her wipe her tears, but he can only stand aside, unable to do anything.
Later, Elinor choked, covered her mouth with her hands, with her red eyes, and passed by them. Wenny murmured, "Alas, she must have been wronged outside..."
Kemp was enlightened by this sentence, and he suddenly looked toward her back. Elinor has already gone back to her room after she closed the door gently, as if she still restrained her pressure.
She was so angry, but she even didn't dare to slam the door.
Kemp stood there for a long time, and then said, "Wenny, please cook by yourself. I'll comfort my sister."
"Eh, Kemp, don't conflict with your sister again..."
She said uneasily, "I always feel that she has troubles hidden in her heart during these days, but she refuses to say them."
Kemp's eyes turned deep, and he went up toward Elinor's room and knocked on the door. But she didn't answer.
Downstairs, Wenny has already restarted cooking. Kemp took back his eyes, took a deep breath, and knocked on the door with more strength, shouting, "Elinor."
She still didn't answer inside.
