Elinor did not expect that she was framed by one of her sentence. They are deliberately taking advantage of Victor to come over, forced Elinor to say that kind of words, then Victor would hear it on the spot.
It is inevitably an embarrassment.
A humiliation embarrassing to the extreme.
Victor saw that Elinor was targeted by her classmates alone in the class. He frowned. Some anger flashed in his eyes. Then he said, "What, are you showing your anger to me?"
Elinor immediately shook her head, for fear of offending Victor. "No, are you here for Elinor? Don't care about me."
"Gee, she is so good at acting miserable..." That male student ridiculed. We're all in high school. But only you have that kind of tone, which is really amazing.
Is it amazing? Or is he just mocking?
Elinor knows that no matter what she says at this moment, it was all her fault. So she simply doesn't care. The girl stands in the classrooms. There were spectators all around. Everyone thinks that they did nothing wrong. Everyone thinks they did no harm to the girl. So they don't have to shoulder any responsibility. But it never occurred to them that if everyone thought this way, the accumulated offensive power would be impossible to imagine.
In an avalanche, no snowflake is innocent.
They all thouth themselves as the partners of justice, so they spare no effort when besieging Elinor. But if they go to the court, what sins did Elinor committed?
Victor disliked such a weak Elinor. She is so weak that everyone dare to bully her. Did she feel sad about this? Why did she not fight back?
Why doesn't she ask him for help now?
