Elinor didn't know how to face Victor, so she can only shrink into the quilt.
Victor saw her behavior as acquiescence, and caught her in a very good mood. She was so small that she was held in his arms like a soft doll. He said, "Look. It is a very wise choice for you not to talk at this time."
She did not resist and let him rub her hair.
Victor said, "Don't spread our affair at school."
She still kept silent.
He raised his voice, "Do you hear me?"
She immediately nodded, "Hmm."
"Don't try to seduce Rankin again." He said maliciously, "He is not someone that you can hang up with."
"I didn't." She no longer wanted to defend herself. "Think as you like."
"Are you throwing your tantrum?" He grinned, the smile particularly cold. "Elinor, don't overestimate yourself."
"Victor..."
She shrank in his arms. Their bodies were attached so closely, but when she spoke, she felt their hearts were so distant.
She asked him, "Do you love me?"
This question was like a sword piercing his heart. He was shocked and never expected such a question from her.
How would she ask such a stupid question?
He immediately came out of a trance, laughing and mocking, "What are you thinking? I love you? Elinor, are you mad?"
Sure enough.
Her voice was trembling. "Now that you don't, why did you..."
Do such a thing to me?
Why did you force me?
Her tears almost dropped again. This look made him irritable again. He pushed her away. He didn't control his strength, and Elinor who was originally in his arms fell on the ground with a thud and made a muffled sound.
Victor paused, but he refused to admit his mistake and condescended to her, sneering, "The price of pushing your luck."
The ground is covered with soft carpets, so she may not get hurt.
He comforted himself, and then looked at her. "Since you want to know why I did this to you, I can only say you should be to blame. Your skimpy dress brought this to you. I just gave you a lesson."
Her eyes turned red. "Why do you always trample on my dignity with such casual excuses?"
"Do you have dignity?" He seemed to hear a joke and was amused. "Are you kidding me, Elinor? Dignity? You're not qualified to talk about dignity."
She clenched the blanket under her body, as if she fought hard at last. "One more time, Victor..."
He was attracted by her such look she never showed before.
