At night, after the party, Victor waited in the underground parking spot alone, and Samuel and Sakakibara came over side by side. Seeing him stand alone, they greeted him, "Why are you standing here alone?"
"I'm waiting for you."
Victor said so deliberately. Samuel punched his chest with disbelief. "Are you kidding? You are not waiting for Darleen? After she comes, will you spend a night together?"
"What are you thinking? It's too embarrassing." Rankin came over with a smile. "Victor, I thought you left, and I found you in the venue."
"R-A-N-K-I-N!" Samuel drawled. "I thought you were staying with Elinor."
Rankin paused, sensed Victor's livid face and said at once. "Elinor left. Where are we going later, Victor?"
He asked Victor. Victor came out of a trance and said carelessly. "I have no idea. I just don't wanna stay with these old guys in the venue, so I left in advance."
"You actually don't like it either."
Samuel blinked. "Then tonight, do you want me to take you to have fun?"
"No!" Sakakibara refused. "No, I don't like your way. I can't accept it."
"Are you a man?" Samuel laughed and scolded, "Sakakibara, so sissy."
"Come on." Sakakibara rolled his eyes heavenward. "I don't want to mess around outside with you. If my dad knows it, I will be sent back and never come to you again for a lifetime."
"What a tragic! Samuel has become a villain in our parents' eyes."
Rankin clapped his hands. "Don't you want to save your reputation in everyone's mind?"
"Are you kidding?" Samuel laughed like hearing a joke. "I don't need to do that. I am just lazy to disguise myself."
I am just lazy to disguise myself.
Victor echoed these words in his heart. He suddenly recalled when Elinor was pressed against the wall by him. She looked into his eyes, with bravery and pride in her eyes, completely different from the previous delicate girl.
Is she lazy to disguise herself now?
She was stubborn, which, Victor knew clearly, was useless in front of him, so she never disobeyed him. But now...
She was not a woman who can be trifled with now. Once he approached, she would sting him.
Victor stuffed one hand in his pocket and held his phone with the other, asking Rankin, "Does Elinor still keep the previous telephone number?"
"Eh?"
