Elinor and Kemp can't figure out why Victor visited them at midnight. They just thought he did so for his father and agreed with Quincy's advice. But when Kemp was about to resent, he turned anguish.
"Wait, wait a minute..." He stammered.
"What's up?"
Quincy and Elinor looked back at him curiously.
"I..."
He was hugging his belly. Since he went home, he has been doing so, but others didn't care about that. They didn't notice his action until he moaned. Quincy asked, "You got a stomachache?"
"I need to poo." Kemp's face twisted in pain. "Dad, I wanna stay home. You go first. I'll stay."
Quincy took a look at Kemp's face and sighed, "Well, Rutledge, I'll arrange a driver for you."
"Thank you, uncle."
Rutledge showed his gratitude, and Quincy arranged a driver to send him home. Finally, Victor invited them to take his car, and Quincy also agreed.
After getting on the car, Elinor was uncomfortable. She looked at the dark night outside and took her eyes back silently.
On the driver seat, Victor met Elinor's gaze from the rearview mirror. He stared at it for a long moment and then looked outside.
What they were watching was the same starry sky?
When they stood at the ends of the Earth respectively, what they were watching was the same sky?
Victor kept silent, and Quincy asked, "Victor, why did you come to us?"
"For Elinor's back."
