Darleen stared at this scene, gnashing her teeth. When did Elinor have such a good relationship with her brother? They even greeted each other in a high profile.
As far as she knew, Samuel never dated Elinor. Did they...?
She looked back at Victor who stood with cold eyes, just like watching a ridiculous farce. He put his hand in his pocket and said coldly in the face of Darleen's dilemma, "Don't you go greet your brother?"
She smiled stiffly. "My brother is busy chatting with Miss Blue now, and he probably won't think of me."
After all, the relationship between them was not good, and their friends knew it. Victor said so obviously to make her unpleasant.
But in the face of his acerbity, she didn't take it serious and only blamed Elinor though she was innocent. She always could find a lot of reasons to blame Elinor.
Looking at Samuel who chatted with Elinor happily, Darleen felt uncomfortable and angry. She never had a good relationship with her brother, but how can Elinor, an outsider, chat with him so casually?
Others whispered aside. "It seems that Elinor's close to the Harvell family."
"Yes, Mr. Harvell only greets Elinor. He even doesn't greet his sister."
"Interesting! Will they marry?"
"It's possible. But Miss blue's also often with Mr. Harvell. It's ambiguous."
