Elinor smiled. Kemp was deliberately teasing her. She answered, "Well, Kemp. You're mature now, since you know how to treat the guest."
Wait, what? Elinor let her brother calling him uncle?
When Shawn was infuriated, Quincy came from the kitchen. "Elinor, you came with Shawn? Well, Shawn, stay for dinner."
Shawn smiled, "Since uncle invited me, I will be the guest today."
Kemp frowned and looked at Shawn. He always felt that this man looked hostile.
Somehow, he felt very uneasy when Elinor stayed with Shawn, but …
Kemp clenched his fist and took a deep breath.
He closed his eyes, and multiple scenes flashed in his mind. In the end, it was Elinor's silhouette that stayed.
No...he, he was not qualified...
Everyone was qualified to say love words to Elinor, even Victor. But he was the only one not qualified.
Twenty minutes later, dinner began. Quincy asked the servants to prepare a pile of dishes which Elinor likes to eat. Then, he asked Shawn a lot of questions.
"Shawn, when did you take over your uncle's business?"
"Two years ago. Uncle Jarvis was lonely. Thus, I came to help."
Shawn and Jarvis looked similar. Their eye-colors were both amber. It's just the relationship between Shawn and Jarvis was not as affectionate as father and son.
