Victor sneered when he heard this. "Do you think so?"
"No, everyone thinks so."
Jane looked at Victor seriously. "If you and Darleen are not a couple, then you must have misguided them."
"Nonsense."
Victor swore, "You thought too much. I have never said anything about me and Darleen. You simply misunderstood us. Why would I be responsible for your illusion?"
"..." Kane was questioned by Victor for the first time. He murmured, "But after all, explaining..."
"I don't own any explanations to strangers."
Victor looked down and answered lazily. "Because I don't care what you think."
To say it nicely, he didn't care. If he was going to be rude, well, that's called "none of his business".
Kane was completely speechless. He looked at Victor in silence. Clouds passed the window. On the rising plane, the fragments of the past were gradually crushed to the ground.
Elinor's stomachache slightly improved after she got off from the plane. The two went to get their luggage, and were attracted much attention along the way.
"Coming for a honeymoon?"
"I guess so. They're so sweet!"
Elinor was bored, so she simply put her mask and headphones on. She quickly shuttled through the crowd like a superstar. She didn't look back, and even left Shawn behind.
After getting her luggage, Elinor looked back and saw that Shawn was still waiting to get his luggage, which should be in the second batch. She walked towards him. "I'm going to the restroom. Wait for me here."
