Shawn felt himself caught in a fraught situation. He originally thought he only needed to accompany Elinor on the plane. However, he got it wrong, and needed to ensure Elinor's safety throughout their trip.

He turned to look at Elinor and found that she was leaning against the window resting with her eyes closed. Because of her period pain, she felt fragile, as if she would shatter with a touch.

Outside the window, there were beautiful views. Elinor leaned on the window, her eyelashes trembled along the way.

Shawn was in a trance, staring at Elinor's side face. When he came back to his senses, he looked away at his palm.

The car suddenly quieted down. The sound of Elinor breathing could be clearly heard, and blended into Shawn's breathing.

Shawn adjusted his sitting posture. Elinor was still resting when they arrived at the hotel 20 minutes later.

Shawn frowned and patted her head. "Here we are."

Elinor rubbed her eyes. "Hmm? So soon?"

"Twenty minutes."

Shawn took his hands back. The soft touch of her hair seem to linger.

"Go in. You can have my room."

Shawn took off his luggage from the back of the car. "Go to the front desk to check in first."

"Yeah."

Elinor walked side by side with him to the front desk of the lobby. The receptionist smiled and helped them check in. Shawn noticed something in the receipt, "Wait a minute, you made a mistake."

He spoke their language pretty well.
