Elinor shook her head. "I still want to go back. I'll go home by air after I end today's task."
"In such a hurry?"
Rutledge frowned. "My flight back is scheduled in three days. Why don't you go back with me?"
"I can go back alone." She looked back, and the foreign guests came out one after another. It seemed that they would go home after the meeting. She tidied up her hair and breathed a sigh of relief. "I am so tired, and I want to go back to rest."
"You just stay here for a few days. Romula wanna take you around this city."
Rutledge had no idea about how to detain her, so he found an excuse. "She wanna stay here with you longer."
She deeply looked at him for a few seconds, as if trying to see through his other thoughts. After a long moment, she said gently, "Well, I'll stay here for more days."
He turned happy and went to hold her hand. "I called a driver to pick us up. Have you finished your task?"
"Yes, I've already contacted the business partners of my father and handed the report to them."
She shook her mobile phone. "It's time for supper now!"
"Let's see what to eat at night with Romula." He grasped her hand fair and square tightly, and he knew she wouldn't shake off his hand, for many people behind them looked at them.
Victor, Darleen, Rankin, Kurosawa and Shawn, all waited to joke her, so she wouldn't shake him off. Instead, she would hold him more tightly.
If he can be relied on by her under such circumstances, does it mean that she actually has a place for him in her heart?
The driver hailed by Rutledge soon arrived, and they went out together. Their interweaving hands made Victor distressed who chased after them.
