When Samuel left the Blue's, he was in a trance.
All of a sudden, he understood much helplessness of Elinor during the past years. He didn't know how to face these desperate feelings. Even he was distressed. If Victor knew it...
Kaliyah's words still rang in his mind. After he got on the car, he dialed Victor. But the phone was unanswered.
Frowning, he sent an e-email to Victor, attached to the information he collected together. When he was about to start the engine, someone chased him outside.
It was Kaliyah.
"Did you come to me so many times just to collect information for Victor?"
Kaliyah looked at him. "What is worth making friends with people like Victor?"
"I know you hate Victor because of Elinor." Samuel started the car, opened the window, and took a cold look at her. "However, why are you so hostile to me? Did I do anything sorry for Elly?"
Kaliyah stared.
"Right, I came to you frequently to get Elinor's information that Victor needs." Samuel stepped on the gas, but the car didn't roar away, for the gear shift was in neutral. It only made a loud noise in place, as if he raged.
He lost his smile that he always put on his face and said coldly, "Although, in your eyes, I helped Elinor just to beat Darleen, in fact, I did help her, right? I helped her, so she owed me. She should thank me no matter what goals I had."
He pointed directly to Kaliyah, "As for you, don't really take yourself too serious. Take back that look. I never asked for anything from her and Victor. Both you and I are outsiders. If they suddenly reunite together, you can only be pissed off. You are not eligible to interrogate me."
His words made her speechless.
When she opened her mouth to add something, he had already stepped on the gas again and left the garage of the Blue's.
