The next day was Monday. Queenie had to get up and go to work. When the alarm clock rang, she got up and took a look at Sonia and Chris who were still asleep in the guest room. The woman smiled and tidied herself up. Then she went out to work.
When Sonia and Chris woke up, it was already afternoon. They drank red wine last night, so they stayed up a little late.
Since living the current life, Sonia feels that her schedule is getting more and more leisure. She got up and saw that Chris was still in bed, so she walked over and kicked the quilt. "Hey! It's time to get up!"
Chris rubbed his hair, took out his phone and looked at it. When he saw the date on the screen, he was startled. He shouted out: "Gee! I have to go back to America."
"Going back so soon?" Sonia changed her clothes and turned to look at him. "Didn't you just come back?"
"I came back for you, okay?"
Chris rolled his eyes at her. "I asked my family for a leave. I still need to go back and run the company. Oh! I'm screwed! And I'll be extremely busy after going back."
Sonia smiled. "You can always ask me to cooperate with you."
"Go to hell!" Chris quickly rolled over and got up. "I'll book a plane ticket later. Let's have some afternoon tea together before I leave."
"OK." Sonia fixed her hair. "I just went to pick up my work at night. She doesn't seem to be very happy these days."
Two people picked out the restaurant to go to and went out to take a taxi. When they arrived at the hotel lobby, they realized that the whole first floor here had been booked by a company for a New Year's party. It was already winter, and the New Year was coming soon. Sonia wrapped herself with her coat tightly and walked to a box with Chris.
"It will be a little quieter here. While the atmosphere is better in the hall, if you don't mind hanging out with all the employees of that company..." The waiter asked in a careful tone. "We can arrange two seats for you two."
