Victor shook his hand to get rid of the shards of glass, and then stretched out his hand to open the door. "Get out."
Elinor sat in the passenger seat and looked pale. "Are you crazy?"
"Victor, you calm down..." Rankin wanted to stop Victor's action, but Victor looked at him fiercely. "Rankin, I don't want to deal with you now, don't force me to turn over old scores."
Rankin changed his face and said, a light flashing on his glasses. "You can't do this..."
Elinor looked at Victor's hand. "Your hand is injured."
Victor paused.
"So you should go to the hospital." Elinor turned her face, trembling. "Instead of coming to me."
"If I don't come to you, what are you going to do with Rankin?"
Victor's voice was hoarse. "Why do you want to take his car?"
Rankin was his best friend in high school.
Why?
Why was it Rankin?
Elinor was frightened by his voice. "Why can't Rankin and I become friends? Only you can?"
Victor pointed to Rankin, "Can't you see that this guy likes you?!"
Elinor stiffened.
She turned sideways and saw Rankin's gloomy face. She had to get off the car, and Rankin followed her.
Elinor stared at Rankin for a long moment, and many thought flashed in her mind. Then she turned to look at Victor. "So what? He's nice to me. Why can't I take his car? Do you think 'He likes me' is a bad thing for me? In my heart, he's still that good guy."
Rankin stared for he never expected to hear such words.
Victor felt so heartbroken now, just as pitiful as the shards of glass.
He said, "Are you going to have a relationship with him?"
"You refuse to leave, right?"
Elinor gritted her teeth and suddenly went to the driver's seat. Rankin was frightened. "What are you going to do, Elinor?"
