"He's coming for you."
After a brief eye contact, Rutledge quickly moved his eyes away, for he felt he would lose to Victor when confronting him. Rutledge looked at Elinor. "He's for you."
Elinor looked away in a flurry. "Ignore him."
She took a few steps to check in her luggage, but someone called her name not far away.
"Elinor Borris!"
It was so ironic to hear such a name.
Every time she wanted to move forward, this name would pull her into the dark abyss again.
Elinor gritted her teeth and said, "Let's go."
Rutledge stood still, his eyes deep. "He is calling you."
"Not me."
She clenched her fingers. "I don't know Elinor Borris. My surname is Sue. He mistook someone at the airport."
A figure stumbled, with pain in his voice, till he stood in front of her, "Elinor Borris--"
Seeing the luggage at hand, Victor paused. "Will you leave?"
"You called the wrong guy."
She said, "Let go. I am not Elinor Borris."
"Why?"
He asked her, but didn't get a reply.
