Unwanted Daddy Don't Come Closer to Mommy novel Chapter 327

Quincy looked at Victor and suddenly laughed. He helped Victor fix his crown, "Good."

The group of people that came in were all Dixon's good friends. Some of them didn't have time to buy gifts, so they took out stacks of money. Dixon stood to the side like a teacher reporting their grades, one by one...

"This is Sawyer."

"Uncle Sawyer, hello."

The envelope contained a huge pile of money. It was two thousand dollars. Sawyer put the envelope in Victor's arms, "Take it and hide it well. Don't give it to your dead."

Dixon stood to the side, "Those who have finished giving gifts can get out."

"This is Shane, Lenard's brother."

"Uncle Shane, hello."

"Good boy!" Shane bought Victor a diving watch which looked like it must be a limited edition and not cheap. "You're still young. And I just couldn't think of anything to give you. So, I just buy you a watch, and I'll give you a car when you grow up."

"Shane is going to spoil Dixon's son, Ha ha."

"Hey, Victor, when you grow up, Uncle Sawyer will send you women."

"Sawyer, shame on you, ha ha!"

"Dixon is going to hit us. Everyone, let's get out of here."

When Jarvis walked in, Dixon didn't introduce him. Jarvis narrowed his eyes, "What, I'm not a big shot?"

Dixon said, "I won't bother to introduce you. Just hand out your gift."

Jarvis felt speechless.

Jarvis, rather irritably, pulled a bag out from behind him. He bought Victor a bracelet from Bulgari. Dixon snorted, "Nothing new."

Jarvis was furious. He pointed at Sawyer in the distance, "What the... That brat directly gave money. He is even more uninspired!"

Sawyer grinned happily with his eyebrows arched, "I gave him a big sum of money!"

Jarvis was unconvinced, "Let's compete on Victor's next birthday."

"..." They were so childish.

The arrival of Dixon's good friends certainly raised the atmosphere. But Sonia felt awkward standing on the side.

She thought Victor's birthday would be just her and Victor. A quiet and cozy party for two would be enough for her. She felt there was absolutely no need to make such a big scene. And... To invite so many people to come.

Victor thought the same. Although he received a bunch of expensive gifts, he did not feel happy, but rather felt very depressed.

Dixon's intention was good. He wanted to make amends for them. But his approach only had the opposite effect. Victor didn't feel free all night and just wanted to get it over with.

Those people probably sensed the awkwardness of Sonia and Victor. They had heard from Dixon about Sonia's recent mental state. They knew their presence as outsiders were getting in the way. So, they gave each other a few signals. Everyone got the hint and found some excuse to pick up their clothes and leave.

When others left, the room was left with only Dixon, Carney, Sonia, and Victor.

Victor was relieved and said to Dixon, "Mr. Borris, thank you for the birthday party today."

He even arranged so many special things. It probably cost him a lot of money.
