He didn't dare to believe it and thought he was wrong. However, after hesitating by the window, he found that it was indeed Victor and Quincy.
The man and the boy were laughing and talking. Quincy was scribbling on Victor's workbook at some time and later reached out to pinch Victor's face.
His son, who had been resistant to him, was rubbing shoulders with another man. They were chatting and laughing. They didn't notice Dixon passing by on the road outside.
Dixon watched them for a while and felt that he was asking for humiliation. Then, he left. He came to that dessert store to take some cakes to Sonia and Victor. But now it seemed that he had no point in doing it.
When he got to the underground parking lot, Dixon passed by a garbage can. He threw the bag of desserts he had just bought into it, as if he was venting some resentful anger.
Then, he went around to the front of the car and pulled open the door, quickly started the car. But he didn't step on the gas. He sat in the driver's seat, clutching the steering wheel. He looked in a trance and pain.
Quincy finished a piece of family diary with Victor. And Quincy helped him draw a picture of the family together. Looking at Quincy's drawing style, Victor praised, "Have you ever learned how to draw before?"
"Yeah, when I was a kid," Quincy didn't look up, "my family wanted me to be proficient in artistic talents. But with all the projects, I was halfway done. I always dropped the study halfway and went against them."
Victor giggled, "No wonder you're so playful."
Quincy helped Victor pack up and then asked, "Have you had enough food?"
"Not yet. Let's go eat hot pot later," Victor and Quincy were always in a relaxed atmosphere. Victor said, "I want something spicy."
When Quincy smiles, his blue eyes were like the ocean. He replied, "Okay."
An hour later, Quincy and Victor, carrying many shopping bags, arrived at a hot pot restaurant. Quincy said, "This restaurant has delicious bullfrogs."
"My mommy loves bullfrogs," Victor said as he walked forward. But he felt a heavy push and stumbled forward two steps. He almost fell to the ground. Fortunately, Quincy, who was walking ahead of him, quickly held him and asked subconsciously, "What's wrong?"
