At eight o'clock the next night, Dixon asked Carney to pick Victor and sent some people to guard Sonia's ward. There were even some people disguising as patients to shuttle through the hospital every day, just to prevent Sonia from being attacked by Cecil.
Victor sneaked out after Sonia took pills and fell asleep. He jumped into the car and saw Elinor in the back seat.
The little boy frowned unhappily. "Why is she here?"
"Little brother!" Elinor did not recognize his disgust, and she reached out her hand to hold him. "I miss you so much, so I came with Dad."
Hearing Elinor called Dad, Victor felt a sting in his heart, so he shook off it. "Stay away from me!"
Elinor stopped embarrassingly. Dixon saw the conflict from the rearview mirror, but he had nothing to do.
She tentatively asked, "Do I make you unhappy?"
"Your existence is annoying me."
Victor answered in disgust. "Stay away! Disgusting!"
He said she was disgusting.
Elinor burst into tears, as if something broke in her heart.
However, Victor turned a blind eye to her, saying vehemently, "Crocodile tears. Keep back your aggrieved look! I don't want to see it at all."
Dixon sighed silently, driving his car.
Elinor stopped sobbing and even breathed slowly. She was afraid that Victor lost his temper again.
