Sonia originally thought that her future would be peaceful and quiet. Even if Dixon appeared from time to time to stir her heart, she had enough sense and coldness to suppress all those stirring feelings.
The next night, however, she was caught off guard by what happened.
Ventus knocked on Sonia's door with Ricky, who was covered in blood. When they entered the house, Ventus, who had always been aloof and expressionless, had an anxious look. His eyes were bloodshot. His voice was mute, "He's been shot! He's been shot!!!"
Sonia was shocked. Queenie and Leon went out on vacation yesterday. Now, only she and Victor were at home. Seeing Ricky's look, Sonia had a pale face. Victor came out of the bedroom and burst into tears, "Master! Master!"
"Close the door!"
Sonia shouted. Ventus was about to close the door. But Victor was one step ahead of him, "Wait a minute!"
Ventus was puzzled. And then, he saw Sonia carrying a bucket of water from the kitchen. Sonia wiped the traces of the outside thoroughly and carefully. And then, she carefully closed the door. Before she closed the door, she looked up at the surveillance camera for a minute, clenched her fists, and then closed the door.
Ricky lay weakly in Ventus' arms. His face was bloodless. He covered the wound with his hands, which were still trembling.
"Where have you been shot?"
Sonia knew they were not ordinary people. But Ricky and Ventus had previously appeared in an image of unparalleled bravery. She never thought he would fall so weakly in Ventus's arms. Victor went to the kitchen to get scissors. And then, he used the scissors to cut open Ricky's clothes.
The boy's eyes were cold and calm. He threw the clothes to Sonia and said, "Mom, go burn the clothes."
