Half an hour later, Dylan rushed to the Holland residence. 

Because he rushed over in a hurry, the wound on his back was still burning with pain. Only when Dylan saw that Audrey was safe and sound at home did he heave a sigh of relief. 

He went forward and hugged her tightly in his arms. He said bitterly, “Thank goodness you’re fine!” 

Audrey frowned slightly. She wanted to push away Dylan who was hugging her tightly, but when she thought of the large area of serious burns on his back, she did not move anymore. 

However, she did not look happy. 

After suffering from such serious burns several times, it seemed that Dylan really did not try to have those injuries recover.

Now that he saw her standing in front of him safely, he heaved a sigh of relief. 

“Come up with me!” After saying that, Audrey looked up and glanced at Dylan gloomily. Then, she turned around and walked upstairs. 

Dylan could not help but frown when he saw the cruel vibe that Audrey gave off. He wondered if he had made her unhappy. He only dared to follow her upstairs obediently. 

It was still the same research lab. 

“Take off your clothes!” Audrey ordered indifferently without any emotion. She was as emotionless as a cold machine. 

Dylan was stunned for a moment before a gentle smile appeared on his face. He looked at Audrey and said affectionately, “Baby, you’re worried about me!” 

Audrey looked at him impatiently and lost her patience, saying, “If you don’t want to take off your clothes, get lost!” 

“I’ll take them off. I’ll do whatever you want me to do. Baby, don’t be angry!” Dylan hurriedly said, afraid that he would really be chased out if he made Audrey unhappy. 

Dylan took off his clothes. The wound on his back was already slightly red and swollen. Audrey pursed her lips and looked unhappy. 

From the beginning to the end, she did not say a word. Emotionless, she just treated his wound and turned to leave. 

Dylan hurriedly put on his clothes and chased after Audrey. “Baby, you’re angry!” 

“Get out of the way!” With that, Audrey looked at him indifferently, her eyes full of gloom. 

After knowing that Audrey was really angry, Dylan did not dare to say anything else. Aggrieved, he just looked at her. Audrey was a little irritated by his gaze. 

Suddenly, she turned around and glared at him angrily. “Are you done? Dylan, I’m very busy!” 

“Baby, I was wrong. Don’t be angry. I’ll do anything to have you calm down!” Dylan looked at Audrey in panic, afraid that Audrey would stop talking to him.

The gloom in Audrey’s eyes intensified. For some reason, when she saw Dylan being so humble and careful, she felt even more irritated and unhappy. 

She simply turned around and left, leaving Dylan with a cold and indifferent back view. 

Dylan’s heart was filled with bitterness as he watched the slender and cold figure leave step by step. He was flustered and afraid, but he did not dare to stop her. He did not even have the courage to go forward and hold her. 

He was afraid that Audrey would be mad for real, not even giving him a chance to atone. 

Even when Audrey’s door was completely closed, Dylan still stood on the spot. 

A minute later, Wendy walked over. “Mr. Clifford, Ms. Hernandez asked me to prepare a guest room for you to rest. Follow 

me!” 

Dylan was stunned when he heard Wendy’s words. 

He thought that Audrey was angry with him and left him alone because she didn’t want him anymore. 

Dylan was still in disbelief when he asked, “Did she really ask you to prepare a room for me to rest?” 

Wendy was also stunned when she saw the look of the Prince of Northville, who was usually noble and aloof. Then, she smiled and said, “Although Ms. Hernandez has an aloof personality, she’s the kindest. Mr. Clifford, you haven’t rested for a long time, right? That’s why Ms. Hernandez asked me to prepare a guest room for you to rest!” 

“Alright!” Dylan replied calmly. His tone was extremely low and hoarse, but he felt touched. 

No one knew better than him how wonderful Audrey was. 

Wendy sent him to the guest room on the third floor. Dylan thanked her before entering the room. 

Then, he sent a message to Audrey: [Baby, thank you!] He was thinking, “Thank you for letting me stay here instead of chasing me away!‘ 

Audrey casually glanced at the message sent by Dylan. She couldn’t bother to reply. After reading it, she threw her phone aside. 

Coupled with the injuries on his back, Dylan was really tired this time. He avoided the injuries on his back and fell asleep as soon as he lay on the bed. 

In a daze, Dylan felt as if his entire body was burning up until something cool covered his forehead.

Audrey went to the research lab to find a special medicine and gave it to Dylan. The wounds on his back were already faintly inflamed. 

Audrey treated the inflamed wounds again and checked Dylan’s body temperature. Not long after he took the special medicine, the fever subsided. Only then did she heave a sigh of relief. 

She was not willing to owe anyone a favor, no matter who this person was.
