　　Distinguishing the two of three figures approaching the living room, Katarina Cang stood up and smiled graciously and with a hint of embarrassment.

　　"Hello, I didn't expect that you won't be here. I was leaving for City M tomorrow so I came to visit early and to see your children once again." Then Katarina paused and continued with a bashful expression,

　　"They were so lovely I kept thinking about them and always have wanted to pay a visit to play with them but unfortunately, I just learned they're not here."

　　Veronica was about to reply when Rawlf excused himself saying he needs to change for he has something to deal with, leaving the women to talk on their own.

　　If there is anything that Veronica noticed and couldn't help but to be fond more about Rawlf is the fact that he never gave her any reason to doubt or be jealous of.

　　Just like today, he just greets the other woman and leaves her, the host, to entertain their guest; obviously stating her position to the other woman.

　　"Yes, Rawlf and I decided to let them have their vacation first on my parents for the meantime." Veronica replied but no longer added anything to extend the conversation.

　　"Oh, so that's it. Anyway, I brought gifts for them. If you don't mind, please accept this." Katarina then picked two beautifully wrapped boxes beside her.

　　"Thank you for the thoughts Katarina."

　　"I hope they'll like it... so, they have their vacations? Is it somewhere far away?"

　　Veronica covered a flash of suspiciousness in her expression and smiled, her mind quickly calculating her decision.

　　"Yes, in fact I and Rawlf just arrived from Country R."

　　"Oh really? That's a twelve hours flight to here! Then…. I won't be staying any longer. Please rest well and also please send my regards to them." Katarina stood up and Veronica walked her out of the mansion's gate.

　　Katarina was a few meters away from the gate when she suddenly turned her back to Veronica who was standing there, watching her back, as if observing her.

　　She gently smiled. "And I hope I can play with them soon."

　　After saying so, Katarina walked to get in her car and no longer bothered to look back.

　　"What does she want?" Veronica heard Rawlf's voice behind her. She soon felt his arms enveloping her waist around.

　　"I forgot to ask, but last time when I came to visit you and the twins in your company, I saw her in the underground parking area. Was she able to see the kids?" Veronica rather asked, her motherly instinct goes in a protective stance.

　　"No. I do not allow just anyone to see our cubs. I only met her at the conference room since she just came for a business deal. Why?"

　　"Hmm, strange. To like our children is normal but this action from her, it's making me uncomfortable. Much that I saw sincere affection from her eyes. But I don't know, this does not make me feel good about it."

　　Rawlf nodded. "Strange indeed."
