　　Veronica stood up like nothing happened and smiled sweetly towards Rawlf. She approached them and asked,

　　"What are you doing here?" She's looking at Rawlf.

　　"Just checking on you." The man replied in a calm tone before pulling the woman to his embrace.

　　"Fix this you three." He said without looking back and started walking out the house, Veronica in his embrace.

　　The three men looked at each other and as soon as the couple left, they simultaneously looked at the fainted woman on the floor.

　　"Wow." Dmitri murmured.

　　Rawlf opened his car's passenger's seat door and let Veronica enter first before walking on the other side to get in the driver seat.

　　After he entered and seated himself, he looked at the woman who was already looking at him. "I told you I could handle it."

　　He heard her say.

　　"Hmm. Just checking out," Rawlf replied and as his eyes landed on her other shoulder, his eyes turned dark.

　　"You're injured." The man's voice held a gloomy tone.

　　"Just a little grazed." Veronica replied yet Rawlf carefully looked at her left cheek.

　　'Surely the slap's mark is still reddish.' She thought.

　　"Who dared to slap you?"

　　"I can deal with it later." Veronica smiled at him, attempting to take his hands to pacify her. "Who?"

　　Veronica sighs. 'Ahh this man.'

　　"The dark-skinned one and the lady from the Tan."

　　"Hmm." Rawlf nodded his head and dialed a number in his phone.

　　"I need a medic. Your lady boss was wounded." Rawlf said shortly and disconnected.

　　While waiting for the medic, Rawlf pried open on Veronica's maroon blouse to check her wound.

　　Veronica just let him with it since she knew she couldn't stop him from doing so. She heard him inhale and exhale slowly, as if containing his fury.
