　　Veronica was in Baelforce headquarter when she received a call from Rawlf. "Hello."

　　"I miss you too." Rawlf chuckled.

　　"You're being clingy." Veronica replied in a teasing tone. "Oh? I didn't know about that."

　　Veronica rolled her eyes. But her expression turned serious after remembering something.

　　"Someone named Pyotr Federov surfaced on the investigation. My men were still investigating him."

　　"I will send you something. But don't worry. I already settled everything with uncle Bien." "What do you mean?" Veronica frowned.

　　"Read it."

　　Veronica disconnected and soon opened a file in her computer. Veronica clenched her fists after carefully looking at the surveillance pictures.

　　Later, she was about to call Rawlf but decided to drop it and sent him a message instead. She fixed her belongings before standing up to go.

　　Veronica just got off the elevator and started walking to Rawlf's office. The secretaries and assistants were as accommodating as usual but Veronica could still sense something from them. She ignored it and kept walking.

　　Rawlf's office was slightly ajar, Veronica frowned and stopped. She then heard a female voice who seemed to be begging, like a love-sick woman begging her lover.

　　"Rawlf please."

　　Veronica frowned yet still entered.

　　Hearing the door that just opened, Katarina Cang instantly swayed her body resulting in her being seated on Rawlf's lap.

　　Rawlf frowned, the disgust obvious in his face but Katarina ignored it and rather tightened her arms on the man's neck and like as if surprised seeing Veronica on the door, jumped out of Rawlf's lap, the guilt like a cat being accidentally discovered apparent in her face.

　　Veronica frowned and quickly turned back.

　　Rawlf jumped on his feet to chase her but Katarina pulled his hands.
