　　Rawlf just entered Veronica's hotel suite when he heard a muffled cry from the said woman. Rawlf was quick to move and entered the bedroom of the suite. There he saw Veronica whimpering and crying in her sleep.

　　"Noooooo! Not my bab-"

　　"Veronica, hey! Veronica!" Rawlf straightly went to the bed and called to wake her up. Veronica was still crying in her sleep and just as she was about to unconsciously protect her stomach, Rawlf also moved to shake her gently. "Veronica, babe Veronica, wake up now! Veronica!"

　　A loud gasp was then heard coming from the woman. Sweat trickled from her forehead as she wiped the tears streaming on her face.

　　"Babe, what hap-"

　　Rawlf did not manage to finish as Veronica suddenly cried in his chest. Although all these things were new to him and he wasn't used to comforting women before actually he never has, but

　　out of his instinct, he gently pulled the crying woman in his embrace.

　　"Sshhh.. I'm here." He soothed her as he gently caressed her back while lightly kissing the top of her head.

　　Veronica continued to cry as she tightened her embrace around Rawlf. Rawlf on the other hand was still gently tapping and caressing her back while from time to time, would lightly kiss either her forehead or the top of her head.

　　After a while, Veronica ceased from sobbing and just turned silent as she realized the mess she created.

　　What the hell! Her remembering to the point of even having it as a bad dream of that incident from that year made her lose herself the instant she woke up!

　　She was so good at maintaining her strong facade towards her family despite that that event was something she will never ever forget but the unique scent of Rawlf the instant she woke up from that bad dream made her emotionally unstable and all the pent emotions over the years just poured out of her through crying.

　　That her, from five years ago, was just another helpless woman.

　　If not for her uncle Bien's strong connection with Country R's government, that made it easy for them to locate her, until now, she was still afraid of the possibility of what could have happened to her and her twins that time.

　　Her uncle Bien was another leader of an underworld force but was supported by Country R as the force was the exclusive one to handle the underground business of the said government.

　　Country R is considered to be another world power and it's not surprising that the international community and media would of course, watch for its every little movement. That's the reason why starting from the first President of its current republic, her uncle Bien's force was solely the underworld force tapped by Country R's government to do its of course, underworld deeds, say for example, assasination of certain political or civil figures that the government considered as a hindrance on its goals and this largely help with its own stability. After all, her uncle Bien's underworld force was inherited through their long history of training martial artists to protect and preserve their own family of royalty.

　　As the world modernized, eventually, when her uncle Bien took over, he established another group division solely for the purpose of assasination and later, became in demand as the assassins were highly skilled.

　　That group grew stronger over the years and became a feared underworld entity not only in Country R but all over the world due to its lethal assassins.

　　That event from five years ago also was the trigger point why Veronica became determined to learn how to fight and use guns to protect and defend herself and those she treasured in life.

　　Eventually that determination turned into some kind of addiction that Veronica became too passionate about and within the span of just a year, she has quickly evolved from a naïve, innocent woman into a deadly and highly skilled assassin herself.
