"Mom, why are you still siding with an outsider at this time?"

Elisa glanced at Monica. Monica's temper and personality were not the best. But being born into a well-off family, she had elegance and poise. Elisa had never heard a word of profanity from her before. However, that didn't mean that she was a virtuous person.

She stared at Elisa coldly. "Elisa, you are no longer a part of this family. You know very well that we do not welcome you here."

Elisa nodded her head while smiling. "I understand, Mrs. Wickam. I won't come when you are around. After all, many others live here too. I don't want to upset grandma because of you."
