We Got Love, The Crazy Kind novel Chapter 48

Amber was unaware that two men were watching her when she entered the tavern.

"Shane, she's hot!" A thin man with slit eyes and long hair swallowed, staring at Amber.

Standing next to him was a big bald man whose eyes were gleaming with excitement and bloodlust. With a lewd smile, he concurred, "Indeed! Her face is pretty and her ass fat! Damn, She's my type! Chaim, I'll taste the peach and get laid first!"

Despite his dissatisfaction, the long-haired man named Chaim managed to smile flatteringly, "For sure, you always have the first bite!"

The tavern was quite shabby. The cockroaches were crawling, and the air smelled damp and musty.

Amber looked at the grayish bedsheet, sighed, took out her own bedsheet from the trunk, and changed it.

After a simple cleanup, she planned to wash up and hit the bed. In the bathroom, she turned on the tap, but no hot water was coming out!

'The room service is terrible!' Amber groaned inwardly and dialed the number of the receptionist. The attitude of the middle-aged woman was good, but her reply rendered her speechless. "Sorry, you came too late, and the hot water ran out! I'll have two bottles of hot water sent to your room."

"Ugh, okay!" Amber had to accept it and wait for the hot water.

Rat-a-tat! The door was knocked brusquely. Amber opened it and saw two strangers standing outside. The taller, bald one was carrying two thermos bottles.

"Thank you!" Amber reached out to pick up the bottles, but the man dodged and headed inside the room. "I'll carry them in for you!"

'Strange! Absolutely abnormal!' Every hair of her body stood on end, and Amber hurriedly intercepted the man. "It's okay! Thank you, I'll do it myself!"

"Too late!" The long-haired man slammed the door shut, locked it, and walked towards Amber with a lewd smile. "Girl, isn't it lonely to sleep alone? We can warm the bed for you!"

At the sight of the closed door, Amber felt a shiver down her spine.
