Chapter 334 Not a Big Deal
Alexa picked a bunch of white roses, and Damarion was attracted by the stall on the other side selling small animals and chose a few goldfish.
Damarion had never come into contact with such interesting creatures. Even when eating, he was unwilling to let go of the fish box.
Terrence could not do anything but lovingly fed him.
After lunch, Terrence went back to the company, and Alexa took Damarion to the coastal road.
It was winter now, and the sea in New York had also turned cold.
Alexa held Damarion's hand and slowly walked along the road. The sea was very quiet, and Alexa was lost in thought.
The people who had been around her were almost gone.
This city had given her a lot of valuable memories, but at the same time, it had also seen a lot of her separation from the ones she loved.
Perhaps there had been some people that she would never meet again.
It was only when Damarion tugged at her finger that Alexa came back from her thought.
"Damarion, what's wrong?"
"Mom, uncle," Damarion said while pointing to the front. "Uncle has come to pick us up."
"Uncle?"
Alexa was dazed for a moment. But how could Keyon be in New York now?
"Damarion, uncle is not here. You must have been mistaken." Alexa explained patiently.
"But, it really is uncle." Damarion insisted.
Alexa looked in the direction of his finger and saw the familiar figure.
There was Keyon dressed in a black suit leaning against a car. He was quietly looking at them.
"Damarion, let's go back." Alexa immediately wanted to turn around.
"Mom, are we not going to greet uncle?"
Damarion asked in confusion. He didn't understand why Alexa was acting like this.
"Damarion, you've mistaken uncle for someone else."
Alexa smiled reluctantly, wanting to take Damarion away.
But Damarion suddenly became stubborn, refusing to leave.
"Damarion!"
Alexa had a rare serious expression as she called out Damarion's name. The little fellow looked a little frightened.
Damarion looked at Alexa with tears in his eyes. He pouted but did not cry.
Alexa felt a sharp pain in her heart, and a sense of guilt immediately surged up-
Meanwhile, Keyon had already walked over to them.
"Alexa."
Hearing his voice, Alexa's movements slowed down involuntarily.
But when she turned around, Alexa acted indifferent.
She did not reply.
"Uncle!”
Damarion's crisp voice rang out. He already opened his arms, waiting for Keyon to hug him like before.
But Keyon stood still. He looked at Alexa as if asking for permission.
"Can I..."
Staring at Keyon, Alexa released Damarion's hand before he finished the sentence.
Damarion immediately threw himself into Keyon's arms.
Keyon also instinctively relaxed his movements. He smiled sincerely at Damarion.
"Damarion, did you miss me?"
"Yes!" Damarion responded instantly.
Alexa's eyes were dry because of the sea breeze. At the same time, the plainclothes bodyguards arranged by Terrence also quietly came over to her side.
She shook her head and motioned for them to leave.
But Alexa did not put away her guard against Keyon.
"Why are you here in New York?"
"Something on business," Keyon was as gentle as before, "Did you receive the pack I asked Aron to give you?"
"Yes," Alexa nodded, "But I don't need it. I won’t go back."
