Chapter 358 Working for My Wife

Terrence's nervousness finally eased a bit.

"Is it reliable?"

"It is still in the third phase of the experiment, but there should not be any problems. The research will continue, and there is hope to increase the healing rate to more than 80%."

"Very good." Terrence's tone was full of expectation. "But I hope it is 100%."

"Of course. I will work hard!"

After talking about the treatment plan, David asked casually.

"How is everything going on?"

"I plan to send Scott to prison."

Terrence was concise and comprehensive, which gave David a big fright.

"What the hell! Isn't he the biological father of your wife? Are you going to send your father-in-law to prison? What crime did he commit?" David asked in shock.

"He will receive a life sentence for any of these crimes," Terrence calmly explained, "What's more, my wife does not intend to forgive him."

"Her family is really complicated."

David was shocked and quickly ended this conversation.

Terrence had a rare good night's sleep.

Even when Alexa woke up the next day, he was still sleeping.

She slowly got up and lay sideways on the bed, quietly looking at Terrence's sleeping face.

His eyelashes fluttered, and he let out a low and sexy groan.

Soon after, Alexa felt a strong arm wrapped around her waist and easily pulled her over.

In less than three seconds, she firmly stuck to Terrence's chest.

Although his eyes were still closed, he smiled evilly.

"So you were awake?" Alexa felt like she had fallen into a trap.

"No." Terrence calmly opened his eyes. "I just woke up now."

"I plan to go to the office today."

Hearing this, Terrence was completely awake.

"Go to the office?"

"Yes." Alexa nodded seriously. "Since I have now become the CEO of the Duran Group, I should do what I have to do."

Terrence did not give her any feedback to fight for her career, but before that, he had to ensure that Alexa would not be hurt by others.

"Okay." He nodded.

Alexa did not expect Terrence to be so easily convinced this time. She was a bit overjoyed for a while.

She quickly kissed his Adam's apple and then quickly got up to clean up.

Terrence touched the place where she had just kissed. He had planned to take the opportunity to ask for a reward, but she just ran away in a flash.

When Alexa and Terrence went downstairs, Christina and Keyon were also in the living room.

"Mom, Keyon." Alexa was a little surprised. "When did you guys come?" "Just now," Christina said with a smile, "I guessed that you and Terrence should still be resting, so I didn't ask the servants to wake you two up."

Terrence politely greeted them and then put on the apron and went to the kitchen.

Christina did not understand what was going on.

"Just let the chef prepare it."

"It's fine. Terrence often cooks at home." Alexa was as shy as a young girl who had just opened her heart to love. "I am not used to the dishes cooked by the chef."

"Yes."

Terrence nodded to echo Alexa's words.

"Wow." Christina patted Keyon. "Keyon, you also have to learn to cook from Terrence."

In front of Christina, Keyon had to be polite to Terrence.

"I will."

With Christina present, Terrence was twice as efficient as usual.

Not long after, he prepared a perfect breakfast. Christina nodded with a

look of approval.

"Alexa, are you planning to go to the office later?"

"Yes, mom. This is my first time entering the company's upper management,

so I have to learn more." Alexa was excited.

"With Terrence and your brother here, what are you afraid of?"

The atmosphere was warm, as if there was an invisible iceberg silently

turning into soft spring water.

"Finley has almost recovered," Christina added. "He will be discharged in

two days."
