We Will Collide Someday by Scarlett Sanchez novel Chapter 405

Chapter 405 Are You Serious?

Finley seemed to be surprised a lot that Thalia would have suddenly proposed to him so directly.

“I…”

“You just need to tell me whether you’d like to marry me.”

“Yes.”

Finley nodded seriously and held her hand tightly.

Thalia liked his innocent appearance.

“That’s enough. Since you are off work tomorrow, let’s go get the marriage certificate. Thalia was even more straightforward. “You don’t have to be in such a hurry. I haven’t formally visited your family members yet,” said Finley rationally.

The last time they were quite unhappy in the law office.

Thalia didn’t want Finley to visit them because they might vent their anger on Finley. Thalia was a little unhappy about it.

“Do you care about their opinions?”

“These are all that I should have done. It can’t be skipped over. Moreover, I don’t want to make you regret it one day.”

Finley was always able to speak her mind out calmly.

Thalia was quite moved in by his words and loved him so much.

“Alright. I’ll listen to you. Then why not invite Alexa and her family members to dinner? Shall our two families have dinner tomorrow? Then we’ll make an engagement.”

“Okay.”

Finley put on a faint smile. Thalia was simply so that into Finley.

She held Finley’s arm tightly as if being afraid of losing him, half of her body sticking to him.

“No matter what my parents will say, you are mine. Finley, you won’t be able to escape from me,” Thalia declared without Finley’s

permission.

“I won’t escape from you.”

Thalia had already moved in to live with Finley for a long time.

The house used to be too quiet, but it was now piled up with Thalia’s private things. One could easily figure out that the male owner of the house now had a girlfriend living together.

Thalia called Alexa. Of course, they were happy to be invited.

But when Thalia was to contact her family members, she hesitated. She was not excited at all.

Thalia held her phone and struggled for a long time, but she did not dial the number.

Finley took a shower and handed her a glass of warm milk.

“If it’s difficult for you, leave it to me.”

“No problem. I just need some time,” Giselle answered stubbornly.

“Alright, then I’ll accompany you.”

Finley sat next to her patiently, flipping through the books.

Thalia understood that Finley was accompanying her to overcome the difficulty.

After thinking it over, Thalia called her Grandma.

“Grandma. I want to get married,” Thalia said gently.

Rosse kept silent on the phone.

Thalia pursed her lips and got extremely nervous.

But a moment later, Rosse didn’t blame Thalia angrily as Thalia expected.

“Thalia, do you want to get married? Which boy? I haven’t known him yet,” Rosse asked gently.

Thalia suddenly could not hold back her tears.

Her parents treated her as a shadow, and of course, they would not tell Grandma about what they had done.

“Come and meet him tomorrow night. He is very good. You will no doubt like him,” Thalia said with tears in her eyes.

Rosse agreed quickly, looking like she felt indeed happy for Thalia.

She chatted with Rosse for a while. Rosse was always concerned about Thalia’s dowry and did not say a single word to blame Thalia.

“Honey, don’t worry,” Rosse smiled and said, “I have already prepared a dowry for you. We will make you get married happily.”

Before hanging up the phone, Thalia burst into tears.

She bit her lips hard, avoiding Grandma to figure it out.

Finley silently hugged her in his arms. Thalia hung up the phone and cried in his arms for a long time.
