Chapter 482 Don't Threaten Me
"So what?"
Finley asked in a flat tone, but Chuck did not answer.
"My wife clearly rejected you, and you still repeatedly crossed the bottom line."
He glanced coldly at Chuck.
"What are your intentions?"
Chuck felt a little embarrassed after being questioned by Finley on the spot.
"Our family and the Crompton family are old friends. Can't I just care about her?"
"You can't."
Finley said coldly, not even looking at him.
Chuck did not gain the upper hand, and he went to drink wine as soon as the meeting ended.
In the noisy separate room, someone put his hand on Chuck's shoulder.
"Why did you come to Thalia? Do you want that kind of woman?"
Chuck threw away the bottle and sneered.
"Do you want her?"
That person smiled, "No, I can't bear it. I heard that she dated a lot of men before. Now she married a doctor."
As soon as Finley was mentioned, Chuck was furious.
"He's nothing to me. How dare he go against me?"
The separate room was bustling with noise when the door suddenly opened.
Seeing the woman at the door, all the men who had been laughing just now were silent, leaving only the noisy music still ringing.
Chuck respectfully got up and let her in. He honestly called out, "Nina."
Nina calmly stroked her shawl and smiled.
"Continue. You make it seem like I'm here to stir up trouble."
They repeatedly flattered her and continued to drink wine.
Chuck sat next to her and put out the cigarette.
"Nina, did you come here alone?"
"I came to talk to you."
Nina's tone was flat.
Chuck said with a sad face, "I failed. The doctor was not so simple. He made up for the Crompton Group's deficiency."
Nina did not mind his words.
"Finley has the support of the Duran Group behind him, and the Crompton Group has his support. How can it be so easy?"
"I..."
"I only asked you to investigate. Who asked you to put yourself in danger?"
After being busy for so long, it turned out that he was just being fooled. Chuck felt uncomfortable.
"I came to find you today because I have something else to ask you."
Nina glanced at him, her tone much colder.
"Has Hyman been dating other women lately?"
A hint of surprise appeared in Chuck's eyes.
"Nina, how would I know?"
Nina ignored him and placed her hand on Chuck's shoulder.
"I heard that Hyman introduced a few more big clients to you recently."
Chuck casually replied.
"Were you the one who introduced that woman to him?"
"Nina, how would I dare do such a thing?"
There was no smile on Nina's face.
Chuck felt that she knew something.
She got up and tidied her clothes.
She said coldly, "Don't forget that he has a family."
Chuck forced a smile.
After Nina left, the others came over to inquire.
Chuck pushed them away with a gloomy face and called Hyman absent-
mindedly.
Hyman obviously did not take it seriously.
"Did she find out?"
"Of course. Otherwise, she wouldn't come to ask me," Chuck said
nervously.
"What are you afraid of?" Hyman smiled.
When Chuck heard a woman's voice from the handset, he immediately
broke out in a cold sweat.
"You better restrain yourself."
Hyman responded perfunctorily with a few words before hanging up the
phone.
The next night, he made a business negotiation with Terrence.
