Twenty minutes later, the car stopped in front of the People’s Hospital.

Isobel pushed open the door and got out of the car, but as soon as she put her feet on the ground, she felt dizzy.

At that moment, Eduard came to her from the other side of the car, “Let me help you.”

She looked up at him, nodded and raised her hand to place it on his.

Closing the car door, Eduard helped her into the hospital. As soon as they reached the hospital entrance, Isobel threw up.

Kit had been plying her with drinks today, despite her high tolerance for liquor, she was still overcome with a feeling of nausea after being chased by Kit for nearly half an hour. She felt so bad in the car just now that she thought she was able to hold out until she went to the restroom, but she didn’t expect to throw up just after she reached the entrance.

She was glad she hadn’t gotten drunk and thrown up on Eduard, otherwise she would have felt even guiltier.

Just now, due to the dim light of the parking lot, Eduard didn’t notice the redness and swelling on her right cheek. At the moment, they arrived at the entrance of the hospital, where it was very bright, Eduard only found it.

Just as she entered the restaurant, she saw Hamish sitting at the table. He looked indifferent and the impatience was evident on his eyebrows. Noticing her gaze, he glanced at her, then raised obsidian black eyes and curled his lip into a smile.

There were dimples on either side when he smiled, and she was instantly charmed by him.

Then one day after her class was over, he stood under the old tree at her school complex, smoking a cigarette. When he saw her walk up to him, the first thing he said to her was, “Would you be interested in being my lover?”

When he said this, he was exhaling smoke, and his face was shrouded in smoke, making him look unreal for her.

However, the picture in her mind then switched and she dreamed that Kit slapped her, but he sat on his hands without any emotional fluctuations inside his eyes.

Instead of saying Kit slapped her across her face, his slap actually hit her in the heart.

It hurt so much that she couldn’t breathe.
