Hazel didn’t expect Aaron to say such a thing.
“Are you trying to eavesdrop on us?” Hazel asked in a low voice.
Aaron: “What are you thinking! It’s late at night, you are shopping outside, I must protect your safety!”
Hazel: “Could it be that Lucas can’t protect me? He’s a man anyway.”
Aaron: “Aren’t you afraid that he will do bad things to you?”
Hazel: “He’s not that kind of person. You go back quickly! I’ll go shopping with him and go back to the hotel.”
Hazel pushed Aaron aside.
Seeing that the two of them had finished chatting, Lucas strode over: “Since your companion is free now, let him accompany you!”
Hazel: “My partner is not free! He came to tell me that he has something to do, he will be very busy these two days, please let me not disturb him!”
Lucas looked at Aaron.
Aaron looked at Hazel with a face of shock. He didn’t expect Hazel, who had always been well-behaved, sensible and obedient, to lie without blinking.
If Elliot and Avery saw this side of their daughter, they would definitely be very surprised.
Lucas: “I’m not free either. If you want to go shopping, go by yourself!”
Lucas saw that Hazel was lying, so he turned and left.
Hazel watched him leave, her cheeks puffed up.
Aaron immediately pulled her arm: “Hazel, don’t be dazed! There are many mosquitoes outside, let’s go back to the hotel!”
Hazel complained: “Aaron, how could you wait for me at the gate of the unit building? If you waited for me outside the community, it wouldn’t be so embarrassing just now.”
Aaron: “How did I know that you two are planning to go on a date!”
