Lucas: “What made you change your mind?”
Hazel: “That’s the reason I just said! I just graduated, so I don’t have any important things going on.”
Lucas: “Aryedelle and Thopiavelle are so far apart, are you sure your parents don’t care if you stay and work here?”
Hazel: “I’ve already told them. They shouldn’t be very happy, but they don’t care about me.”
Lucas: “You don’t care about their unhappiness, but you still want to stay here… You don’t seem like someone who would disobey your parents.”
Hazel suppressed a smile: “You guessed it, I never quarreled with my parents. And I won’t stay here forever, so they won’t be too angry because I stay here now.”
No matter how dull Lucas was, he could see why Hazel insisted on staying in Thopiavelle now.
“You are here for me.” Lucas said firmly, “I won’t let you work in my company, you just do housework and cook for me at my house, and you promised to go back to Aryedelle, but now you are not going back to Arydelle. You… ….you like me?”
Hazel’s face instantly turned red.
She couldn’t deny it.
Because she was really very obvious.
“Can’t I like you?” Hazel said awkwardly, “Don’t you have no girlfriend? As long as you don’t have a girlfriend, I can like you!”
Lucas was speechless at her direct words.
There’s nothing wrong with what she said.
“You said just now that you will return to Aryedelle sooner or later. If that’s the case, it’s impossible for the two of us, so why waste time?” Lucas politely rejected her.
