Chapter 339 Support Devin

After leaving the Stewart’s house, Shirley did not go home directly.

Something absurd happened last night, and Shirley’s arm was scalded. She was annoyed and perplexed.

Shirley didn’t want her two children and May to worry about her, so she decided to adjust her mood before going back.

“May, I have been busy with work. I won’t go back these two days. Don’t worry about me. I will go back when I am done with work.”

After Shirley called May, she checked the contacts on her phone and wanted to find someone to talk to about her depression.

However, other than Nancy, Shirley couldn’t find anyone else to speak her mind.

When Shirley thought that everyone doted on Alina, she suddenly felt a little sad.

The worst thing was that Nancy was very sad because of her breakup. She went to Tahiti for a vacation and wouldn’t return after at least half a month.

As Shirley checked the contacts, a figure suddenly flashed through her mind, and then her beautiful

eyes lit up.

“Right. I can talk to him. He is an expert at this!”

At eight o’clock in the evening, the neon lights were flashing. The beautiful nightlife began.

Shirley wore sunglasses and delicate makeup. She put on a cold and valiant look and walked into Toyboy Bar where only women would be served.

The inside of the bar was as noisy as ever.

Some young girls surrounded the stage, crazily shouting for the beautiful men who were dancing

sensually on the stage.

Shirley looked around the bar, but she did not see Devin.

Shirley patted the girl who was dancing the most happily in front of her. She asked, “Will Devin perform tonight?”

“Of course. He is the most popular dancer here. If he doesn’t dance, how can the bar make money? We are all here for him… These handsome guys are just like appetizers. They can’t satisfy us at all!”

Shirley frowned and asked, “Does he dance every night?”

“Yes. He really works hard!”

The other girls also began to chat.

“I heard that Devin’s family is poor. He used to be a talented student, but his parents died early, so he has to dance here to keep his sister at school. He signed a contract to sell himself to the bar. He can’t leave even if he wants to…”

“Alas, I’m useless. I want to protect Devin, but I can’t!”

“Devin’s fee is rather high. I can’t afford it, so I can only watch him dance and drink more wine to support him. Boohoo!”

When Shirley heard this, she couldn’t help but feel sympathetic.

“Devin looks cheerful. I didn’t know that he lived such a tragic life…”

Shirley made a bold decision at once.

Shirley walked through the crowded dance floor to the bar counter and asked the bartender, “Where’s your boss? I want to talk to him about a deal.”

The bartender sized up Shirley and said with a smile, “You must be rich. Our boss likes rich women the most. I will take you to him now.”

Shirley followed the bartender and went backstage.

The bar owner and a group of men were sitting on the sofa, smoking.

“Oh, Ms. Wilson, why are you here? Have a seat!”

When the bar owner saw Shirley, he immediately got up to welcome her warmly.

Braden had told them that Shirley was a distinguished guest, and they must take good care of her, so they had always been ready to receive Shirley. If Shirley came, they had to tell Braden

immediately.

Shirley had a strong aura. She sat on the sofa with her long legs crossed and went straight to the point. “I heard that Devin signed a contract to sell himself to you, so he must dance here. He is poor as he has to stay here at such a young age. I can’t bear to see this. So… How much do you want to let him go? Name a price!”
